WRT to the officiating crew - if anybody here thinks for a minute that the NFL is going to let the Minnesota Vikings come out of this game as the winner you are seriously delusional. God I wish I was wrong, but we all know the Saints are still the good news story and media darling. Brees is great - no doubt, and there is no way the League can handle the idea of him not in a clash of titans between him and Rodgers or Galapagos in the NFCCG.
On a side note - I have been a Vikings fan since 1971 and have suffered like many here (Joe Kapp, etc..), and have waited for that golden moment when I knew we were the chosen ones. That happened on Digg's catch against the Saints in 17. I said out loud after I calmed down that we were going to win the Super Bowl. It was a sign from providence and all the chips were on our side - momentum, home stadium, awesome talent, etc.. Look at what happened. At the time I said if we don't do it now we never will. Well, welcome to never men. Until we can muster a coaching staff that has an almost barbaric lack of compassion, and sense of aggressiveness that would make the Waffen-SS look pedestrian we will never intimidate anybody, nor have players believing that 31 other teams are terrified of them.
There's still time for me to be wrong, and I hope one day I am, but I don't see the Wilf's having the blood lust to get a staff and roster together that can do that.
Happy New Year and enjoy the last game of the 2019 season.
