90-95% of "experts" had us taking Waynes so it really shouldn't be a surprise. Tomlinson in the second?

@ArifHasanNFL: Spielman says that Munnerlyn's struggles "factored into" the pick, they wanted a corner. Said you still want the best available player tho

Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
I doubt it made it a huge difference. Captain was always supposed to be the slot guy. If anything, it is not a ringing endorsement of Josh Robinson.dead_poet wrote:@ArifHasanNFL: Spielman says that Munnerlyn's struggles "factored into" the pick, they wanted a corner. I still preferred Peters, I think.
You want to see what they say about a bad pick, listen to the ESPN crew talk about Armstead, the 49'ers pick. A 1st round DE with something like 4 sacks in 3 years?

Didnt think anyone could do worse at slot then Robinson. Capt. tried his best to be. We definitely needed a corner, it was just then when and who we picked. OFC. I could be wrong.dead_poet wrote:@ArifHasanNFL: Spielman says that Munnerlyn's struggles "factored into" the pick, they wanted a corner. Said you still want the best available player tho

Carp! That sounds like they were drafting for need. I'm just philosophically opposed to that. Not that it can't work out, of course.dead_poet wrote:@ArifHasanNFL: Spielman says that Munnerlyn's struggles "factored into" the pick, they wanted a corner.
