One more prediction. The Vikings defense will make it look like Peyton is playing for the Giants rather than Eli.
31/43, 356 yards, 3 Td's, 1 interception.

You too are being way too nice, Eli will go 35/40, 512 yards, 5 td's, 0 picksRaptorman wrote:One more prediction. The Vikings defense will make it look like Peyton is playing for the Giants rather than Eli.

Lol yeah you got that right, the woofing gods really really hate me for some reason. However I don't see how you think our defense is going to hold the Giants to only 10 points through 3 quarters. That suggests Wilf will finally come to his senses and fires Frazier and Williams before the game and picks 2 random guys on the street to take their place.Just Me wrote:Thanks for the stats. We got this in the bag as long as no one "jinxes" the Reignman again
27-24 Vikings. (Its actually 27-10 at the start of the 4th quarter, but conservative play allows the Giants to climb back into the game late in the 4th. It will be nail biting time in the last 2 minutes but Harrison Smith will come up with the interception to seal the victory.)

Only because Eli has sucked so bad this year, his QB rating is 1.9 points lower than Ponders.Canuck wrote: You too are being way too nice, Eli will go 35/40, 512 yards, 5 td's, 0 picks

Hey look at it this way, even if the Giants beat us, we'll still be a half game ahead of them in the conference standings (1-5 to 1-6). And people say I'm not positive xD.

Didn't Cassel start the past TWO weeks? (With a bye in between)Hunter Morrow wrote:On the road, in prime time, starting our third quarterback in as many weeks

The Vikings will win.
The Giants will Cruz to their first victory. Vikings on the road, Monday night? Potential for a real stinker.

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

Re: Predictions: MIN @ NYG
FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports the Vikings are "seriously considering" starting Josh Freeman in Week 7 against the Giants.
Per Glazer, the Vikings' "original plan" was to ease Freeman into their offense for two games before anointing him, but Matt Cassel's pathetic Week 6 effort against the Panthers is obviously expediting things. The Vikings are 1-4 with an increasing level of urgency. Glazer reports they are "pushing to put him in this game." At this point, we expect Freeman to be Minnesota's starter against the G-Men. The teams square off on Monday Night Football.

Re: Predictions: MIN @ NYG
This should be a good game because both teams are crap. I've been a die hard Viking/Giants fan since 1971 and have watched both teams regularly.
1. The Giants have no running game because of O-line issues.
2. David Wilson is out for a few weeks and Brandon Jacobs is not 100%.
3. The only back practicing this week is the 7th round pick who has yet to play this year.
4. Giants have NO pass rush, but have played well against the run.
1. The Vikes haven't had a true passing game since Favre's 1st yr here.
2. For whatever reason, the Vikes defense has been very disappointing.
As I said.. Should be a good game..No predictions..Giants should have a slight home field advantage but the fans will turn quickly if they screw up early.

Regardless of what happens to the Vikings on MNF, Brandon Jacobs still does not belong in the NFL anymore.NextQuestion wrote:Giants O-Line is horrible, but we also have no pass rush. Jacobs is a bruiser but I could see him giving us fits.
Cruz, Nicks, and Randle all go for 100 yards and a TD.
Freeman starts.
We lose. Frazier is fired.

The Giants just signed Hillis, I doubt him having much of an impact though.........

I thought so, too. Then again, I utterly dismissed Reggie Bush and he had nearly 200 yards against us.ThePiper wrote:The Giants just signed Hillis, I doubt him having much of an impact though.........

The winless Giants are favored by -3.5 pts. Nuff said.
A successful coach needs a patient wife, loyal dog, and great quarterback - and not necessarily in that order.
