Predictions: MIN @ NYG
Whoa boy. Congratulations to the Giants on their first win of the year!
NYG 28
MIN 11
NYG 28
MIN 11
The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." #SKOL2018
Re: Predictions: MIN @ NYG
I think we'll win fairly easily as long as the locker room hasn't given up more than an 0-6 team's has. This is exactly the type of team we're actually pretty good against. 32nd ranked defense giving up 35 points a game so pretty much the same as us, QB with 15 turnovers that we usually abuse although they might abuse ours too! The biggest difference though is in the run game, AD > Brandon Jacobs.
35-31 Vikes!

It will be a shootout... 42-35 Vikings win.
You have to believe... otherwise my 40+ years of being a fan mean little.

Will Josh Robinson play like dog sh!t as usual? Doesn't matter who the qb is if the vikings d is going to play like they did against Carolina. Idk who will win both teams suck this year but i guess will find out who sucks more
Re: Predictions: MIN @ NYG
My prediction:
The Vikings decide to put Cruz on "Robinson Island". He enjoys his stay there putting up over 200 yards receiving.

Hmm,
I don't know. It's hard seeing a win the way our defense has played the last 3 games. Long scoring drives over and over, again and again. Our offense can't get in sync standing on the sidelines for long periods of time. Seems to me our defense is just what the doctor ordered for Manning to get back on track. 34-14 Giants

Giants O-Line is horrible, but we also have no pass rush. Jacobs is a bruiser but I could see him giving us fits.
Cruz, Nicks, and Randle all go for 100 yards and a TD.
Freeman starts.
We lose. Frazier is fired.

Pull yr 84 jerseys out.

Don't know how many points the Vikings will score, but the Giants, our defense will let them score at least 35.

Now why does that score seem familiar for a Vikings/Giants game...Thaumaturgist wrote:41-0...

Re: Predictions: MIN @ NYG
Ya know for as stupid as this game looks on paper, I'm really looking forward to it. If for no other reason than we should have some answers when it's over.
There is a decent amount of struggling talent on both teams - who will shake off the slump, if only for one game? Does Eli look more like his brother than his mother this game? Does AD finally break out a huge game? Do we see Freeman? Do we get sick of the salsa and turn over to Dancing With The Stars only to see .... MORE SALSA?
Will the Vikes come to play hard-nosed football, and not give up no matter what the score? Will we reduce or eliminate stupid penalties? Will the team show they want to play for this staff? Will we have our first game this season without a peewee-football-like breakdown in the secondary? Will Frazier change his expression, cough, sneeze or perhaps coach in this game? Will Frazier leave his beloved sideline spot and maybe head to the bench to coach anyone up? Does being a HC mean you actually have to stop coaching? He is a D coach by trade, shouldn't he be ALL OVER our defense - good or bad, high fiving or coaching - when they come off the field? I think the time to worry about ruffled feathers of our DC is long gone.
In the end I think the variables and inability to break out of our shells will be too much for the Vikes to overcome, and that their coaching staff is just a heckuva lot more experienced, poised and savvy than ours.
31-24 Giants. Sigh.

I'm going to the game and would love to see a win to make up for that horrible Panthers game(which I also attended)...
Unfortunately my heart isn't in it. Giants will get their first win of the season in a complete shootout.
46 - 39 to the giants
