Raiders LT Jared Veldheer out for at least 8 weeks (if not the season) with a torn triceps.

Boy, the Raiders are going to be BRUTAL this year.

How many teams are left in the NFL this season that haven't had a major injury already? Knock on wood.

Tom Brady leaves practice, looking at knee
According to multiple reports, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady just felt something in his left knee in practice, and then left the field after consulting with coach Bill Belichick.

Kevin Kolb - QB - Bills

According to the Buffalo News' Tim Graham, Kevin Kolb struggled to answer questions like "where are you" and "what's you're name" following his concussion in the third preseason game.

Yeah, it's probably time to hang 'em up. Graham told Sirius XM Radio's Ross Tucker that Kolb is "almost certainly done for the year," in addition to fears about Kolb's long-term health. The Bills will move forward with Jeff Tuel, Matt Leinart, and Thad Lewis competing for No. 2 duties behind E.J. Manuel.

I was reading about this last night. Pretty sad. I didn't think he'd ever really amount to much for the remainder of his career other than a decent backup, but I hate seeing guys go out because of injuries. Sucks.

And "what's you're name" huh? Hopefully they said it like that, and didn't say "what is you are name?" Then, it makes perfect sense as to why he might be confused. I've often seen the lazy "your" instead of "you're" but never the other way around. Good stuff!

Some other injuries off of the top of my head are:

Mark Sanchez-bruised right shoulder, day-to-day I believe.

Stevie Brown (S for Giants)-torn ACL, done for the year. He had 8 picks for them last year, sucks losing a guy like that.
