Vikings/Giants moving to Sunday night.
So it appears the Vikes/Giants game is going to be moved to Sunday night.

Great a Prime Time game, just what we need.

We're bound to have a strong primetime showing eventually, right?

They should move the last game of the season to primetime.

Yuck.
Well, at least let's hope this goes better than the last primetime game at TCF five years ago...
Who knows? It is about damn time Minnesota breaks this primetime curse.

It's good news to me! This means I'll be able to watch the game live.

The Vikings in prime time again? They must think Vikings fans are masochists.
Actually...maybe we are.

Willing to bet that if the Vikings win this weekend and the Packers lose (that would guarantee the final game was for the division) that the final game would be flexed to Sunday Night. Or at least to a 330 kickoff. The only other game that week that I think would be flexed would be Eagles/Giants and that's only if it's to determine who wins the east.Jordysghost wrote:They should move the last game of the season to primetime.

Re: Vikings/Giants moving to Sunday night.
I'm ambivalent.
Happy to get to see them, sad that this means they will likely come out and lay an egg. The AZ game was a good showing at least, so maybe this will be their "break through". Eli was scary good last night, though, and seems to enjoy the bright lights of prime time.

Primetime or not .. the Vikings need to show for every game and play hard.. excuse time is over ...

Re: Vikings/Giants moving to Sunday night.
I completely understand the trepidation towards a primetime game, but I just don't feel it. I think this team is better than any other squad we've had in 15 years (except 09, obviously) and I think the early season big game struggles and fighting through injuries is going to give this team the character boost it needs.
Again, I see why others don't look at it the same why I do. But I don't like it, either!
