I am taking the over. we are getting Peterson back, had a nice draft and were over that total with seven wins last year.

Over

I'd take the over on that one and pray for a healthy season for the Vikes because I'm guessing a few key injuries could pretty easily put this roster under 6.5 wins.

assuming Peterson is back for the season.. no way we don't win 8 games, next season
I could see as much as 10-11 games honestly.. especially if our defense takes another step forward and
our OL plays better.
Peterson demands a full box... Our WR core should benefit greatly from this..

If the Vikings take a st p back this year WITH Peterson, I will be beyond disgusted.

identical strength of schedule as last yea, too, 12. No reason to think we took a step back in my opinion.

Why would it be so low? I don't understand...
The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." #SKOL2018

Over. I don't see how we got worse from last year where we had 7 wins. We didn't really lose any big performers from last year and the biggest piece we lost(Jennings) was replaced with someone that could likely be an upgrade(Wallace).

We'll have 7 wins by week 10, easy money on this one.

It's hard to say but the Vikes were a sub-.500 team after the bye last year. Maybe that had something to do with it?PurpleMustReign wrote:Why would it be so low? I don't understand...

Also, their schedule looks brutal.Mothman wrote: It's hard to say but the Vikes were a sub-.500 team after the bye last year. Maybe that had something to do with it?
That said I love the over.

Yes, and the division could be tough too.VikingPaul73 wrote:Also, their schedule looks brutal.
I imagine most Vikes fans do and since the goal in Vegas is to have an equal number of bets on both sides, I'm guessing that means quite a few people like the under (maybe non-Vikes fans are less optimistic about our favorite team's chances?).That said I love the over.
For what it's worth, I did a quick look this morning and saw the over/under on Vikes wins as high as 7.

I'm also sure a lot of non-Viking fans that are betting have no clue who we even drafted or brought in over the last few years. They just look at how our record has been lately and place the betMothman wrote: Yes, and the division could be tough too.

Re: Vegas puts Vikings Over Under Win Total at 6.5. Whatcha
I found it at 6.5 at a few places. The division is strong and the overall schedule stinks but so long as Teddy and AP stay on the field, I see no reason why we cannot be an 8-8 team.
First 7 games is rough. 49ers on the road, then Lions, Chargers, Broncos, Chiefs, then Lions and Bears road games. OOFTAH. Hard to see any gimmes here, Rams and Raiders and Falcons maybe. And talk about agita if you need them to win the final game to win the bet, Packers at Lame Blow. YUCK.
I will have to think about this one. Maybe this could be a good tiebreaker for the Pick 4 league?

The win total will rely on the defense to smack around these QB's early and often. That is if the pass rush can keep up with the rest of the defense. A huge weak point of the team, imo. Last year the gap between the scoring defense vs scoring offense was closing. As soon as the gap is closed and the offense scores more than the defense allows.....

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.
