#8) Walter Payton- 2,566yds
#7) Eric Dickerson- 2,804yds
#6) Jim Brown- 2,840yds
#5) Earl Campbell- 2,862yds
#4) Ladanian Tomlinson- 3,029yds
#3) Barry Sanders- 3,040yds
#2) AdrianPeterson- 3,044yds
#1) O. J. Simpson- 3,051yds
If Adrian can get a single 161+ yd game throughout the rest of his career, he will take the lead.
Best possibility is when we host Chicago, or New York Giants this year..
Adrian has done it. With his 203 yd performance at the age of 30, against Oakland this year, and his 158 yd performance against Atlanta this year, Adrian has now become the runningback with the Greatest 16-best career game span in NFL History.
Adrian's best 16 games =3,098yds - best of all time.
Simply put, I have not noticed that many forum members doubting his abilities or hoping for a trade. Here and there, yes, but not many. Maybe I need to read more, but I hope I'm right about this.

...wisdom
Keep in mind aside from the last couple posts this is an old thread from back before the season even started.
I also hoped for BIG games at the end of the season when it became clear that Norv was going to rest AP at regular intervals this season and make use of Asiata and Mckinnon more then in past seasons. Ideally, PA should have more left in his tank now....if his ankle is not an issue.
