For the record, I actually agree that (in order) our best lineman are Loadholt, Sully, Fusco, Kalil. I think Berger/Mizzle is a push. So I don't necessarily disagree with this statement, I just would like consistency instead of our best lineman being the one who is injured.
But also, Ware was wrecking us on the left side, so I don't think you can really attribute the pressure to any particular area. They just have great rushers and were coming from everywhere.

The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." #SKOL2018

Re: Vikings @ Broncos Gameday Discussion Thread -- Week 4
Well I would honestly say that all 3 are very close in talent. All 3 are pretty good IMO. I guess I should have worded it better. We lost two of our BETTER linemanDK Sweets wrote:I just have to point out that last year when we lost Fusco, you said he was our best lineman. Why is he not one of the top 2 now?

But back to my point, with how Kalil is playing, plus Fusco, Loadholt and Sully.....thats a pretty good offensive line. And honestly, I've really liked what I've seen from Harris as well who I was a little worried about before the season. So it kind of drives me nuts that guys say "our line has been terrible for years and Spielman does nothing" because that simply isn't true. Our line has looked bad the last two years mainly because of injuries and Kalil going in his slump. The main two guys struggling are Berger and Clemmings and they are the two guys filling in for injury. They are backups for a reason so it's hard to expect a ton out of them. I mean who knew we would lose 2 of our BETTER offensive lineman before the season even started?? Thats just bad luck if anything

This is nice.

I don't know, man...It's good on paper, but as I'm in the camp that says the team overall is growing and today I take away more positive, I'm also in the camp that holds the quarterback to really high standards. He is poised, he's got what you look for, but I'm waiting for him to tighten up his accuracy. As a whole, his numbers are decent, but some of those incompletions were throws that didn't even give his receivers a chance...He can and will need to be, better. Minutiae right now, but magnify those throws under the scope of a playoff game and they become more of a concern.

Very interesting. Granted, none of them are stars in this league but its good to see. It makes you wonder how much better Teddy would be if he had more time behind that lineTSonn wrote:Here are some interesting stats. All the QBs who have played Denver this year and their ratings:

From the Mike Harris thread:Pondering Her Percy wrote:I was wondering the same thing. Is that his actually nickname or did you just give him that Dakota? lol
DK Sweets wrote:The Vikings website ran a piece today about Mike Harris' nickname since his High School days. It's simultaneously the best and worst nickname I've ever heard, and I refuse to call him anything else now.

I agree. Many on here say they are still ticked about today which I am as well, but I wasn't ever expecting us to win the SB this year nor was I expecting us to run with Denver. The Vikings of 2 years ago got blown out in these types of games. I'm seeing growth and fight with this team. I see a much improved defense and an offense that's starting to mesh a little more (outside of the line) and that's what I want to see right now. By no means am I happy about losing but they definitely surprised me todayPacificNorseWest wrote:

Good one? Do you actually think the guy was "excited we lost"?? That's just kind of ignorant on your partPurpleKoolaid wrote:

It also makes me wonder why the Denver defense is allowing higher QB ratings in each successive week. That's a trend that should concern them.Pondering Her Percy wrote: Very interesting. Yeah, I don't know koolaid...I feel like it's pretty apparent where my sentiments lie, they just don't align with your takeaways. I can't speak for Jordyghost or whatever, but I would not be on this forum if I were not a fan, as such, I don't want them to lose. I just saw a silver lining today that I wasn't expecting to see and wanted to share that optimism. It wasn't well-received.
