I understand, I was mostly responding to the article and more of these NFL players coming out and publicizing their post career issues (quoting your whole post maybe have been misleading.... but I typically quote entire posts)

I still laugh at the weird circumstances that led to Favre completing his 500th TD pass to Randy Moss. That was truly bizarre.

He is probably referencing the fact that favre wanted moss out of college. Didn't get him, had to watch him play for a rival, then was traded out of the NFCN. Then saw in when he was a Jet. Then joined the vikings, then the NEXT year we got Moss back

If that doesn't go to show you anything is possible if you wait I dont know what is. Never give up on that old flame fellas. Who knows?!

Let me guess ... you're the first one shouting, "Take that, beyotch!" when somebody gets drilled.

Oh well. As long as you're entertained.

As much as I dislike that Favre played for us, and all the attention he got throughout his carrer, that guy was the toughest QB ever. And he was indeed fun to watch.

Favre, 44, during his interview where they asked him about Peyton returning to Indy for the first time looks physically awesome, which is probably what got the Rams so wet. However its tough to say how his timing and reflexes would be taking 3+ years off, regardless of how jacked he is.

But since the Rams officially contacted the old man, inevitably the idea of Favre on other teams will come up. The significance of the Rams rejection is most are concluding one big reason why Favre wouldn't entertain that idea is that the Rams are a jobber team going nowhere, and Favre is hardly desperate to play or to earn money. For this reason I don't see Favre having any interest in returning to Minnesota (as much as I'd love to see Favre hit Jennings again), but as has been stated by others in the media, perhaps a contending team that loses a QB to injury might be more intriguing (Chiefs, Broncos, Cowboys, Saints, Packers, etc.) to Favre. And not that the Vikings would be interested in bringing in any sort of veteran QB, but I don't think Brett would come back for us. Especially with our o-line issues. Then again he's so jacked now he could probably just stiff arm all defenders!
Hey, at least he has the sense of knowing that he could no longer perform. Remember Ali against Holmes? Or the final stages of Sugar Ray Leonard? Favre actually should be congratulated for having an amazing season in his penultimate campaign and then, after having a bad year, realizing that it is time to quit. No, he didn't go out like John Elway, but at least he didn't linger on long after he could play.

Now I know that his "issue" was the waffling, and not the playing too long, but I frankly have enough appreciation for the thrills he gave us a few years ago that I'm not going to bash the guy.

He looked old, slow, uninterested, and almost decreped in his last season with us, no thanks. he needs to stay retired

He sure did. I wonder if his foot ever healed, that looked horrible, and he still played on it.

I also wonder how many Millions he made that last year.
