Wow, it looks like the doomsday list is growing. It seems to be related to how often the Vikings take the field these days xD.

For whatever reason we own Eli Manning. He has only thrown 3 career TD's vs 11 INT's in 5 starts for a QB rating of 50.2.

However, more times than not, we seem to help a struggling team/player fix what ails them and I don't expect that to change on Monday Night. I think Eli torches us and we get blown out again. Come on, it's a national televised game, we have to get embarrassed. The national media will believe the Giants are fixed and they'll be slobbering over Eli all week for bouncing back with his best game of the year. Viking fans will know the truth though, if you're struggling, just schedule our team. We'll make you look like champs for a night.

Giants 37-17.

I'll say Giants only because I can't remember the last time they went 0-7. Then again I predicted them to win the division in the NFL section so what the $%@() do I know. 8)

On the road, in prime time, starting our third quarterback in as many weeks, we haven't found a backfield in the league
we don't want to give 120 yards to, our linebackers are brutal in pass defense and our secondary couldn't cover the field with a tarp!

Doesn't sound like a winning recipe to me!

But the upshot is that both coverage special teams and defenses are putrid so at least we should
get a comedy of errors shootout. I suppose we could win the turnover battle and the game?

Blowout. Loss. Humiliation. Peterson injured. Frazier and Musgrave extended through 2016.

Thank god I don't have ESPN.

Lets see....our defense just made ANOTHER Q/B look like Joe Montana reincarnated. He scored 35 points, completed all most 80% of his passes and had a Q/B rating of 147 I believe. All this was done with sub par wide receivers (Steve Smith is slightly above average) but nothing like the pair that they will have to face this week.

E. Manning is having a terrible season but with Hicks and Cruz running around against our hapless group of misfits Manning may throw for 400 yards.

I see the Giants leaving the winless ranks with a blow out win against the worst defense in the league.

34 - 13 Giants and the game might very well be over at half time

First week of the season!

I am guessing we'll help them w/ their winless ways. The best remedy for Eli's ailment is Josh Robinson. He'll be feeling better in no time!

NO WAY! its not going to be like that, for one Eli with only 400 yards? he has already done that a couple times this year against better defences then ours. I say he throws for 500+ with Harrison smith and Rhodes beat up he wont even throw a pick this game. Also we were blown out at HOME, now we go to New York on national television, Monday night! its not going to be pretty. I say the Vikings get tromped 50-6 with 2 long boots from Walsh. Freeman will look lost the whole game, even though the play book is the easiest to pick up in the league, like you have seen with Freeman in those interviews, he isn't the brightest bulb on the tree.

I'm hoping some drastic measures come after this blowout, and not saying fire Frazier, you do that at the END of the year, so you can properly find your future HC, and not band aid a gaping hole with someone inside the organization just like how Frazier has his job now.
I'm hoping they try and get something for Kevin Williams, and/or Jared allen. I love both these players, but they are slowing down, and it would be nice for them to maybe go to a super bowl calibre team, if we could get a mid draft pick for either that would be nice. We start shuffling things up now as this season is done, and we need to look at the future.

Lets hope A.D gets the ball lots so he can get those stats, that's all I have now to look forward to on Sundays

Giants 37-17.
Thanks for the stats. We got this in the bag as long as no one "jinxes" the Reignman again

27-24 Vikings. (Its actually 27-10 at the start of the 4th quarter, but conservative play allows the Giants to climb back into the game late in the 4th. It will be nail biting time in the last 2 minutes but Sendejo will come up with the interception to seal the victory.)

(edited Sendejo in place for Harrison Smith).

27-24 Vikings. I don't know if Giants fans will be too kind to their home team.

30-23 Giants, if we win ill be amazed. Eli Manning has had a bad year but Robinson will surely leave whoever he is covering open 100% of the time.

Right now I think Giants win. Just on a hunch.

Realistically, the Vikings can create turnovers and put pressure on the QB, which are both areas that the Giants are struggling with tremendously right now. They won't be able to stop AP and hopefully Freeman can provide a lift in the passing game.

Their receivers should do work against the Vikings secondary though so a high scoring game won't surprise me at all.

No faith in the Defense, not faith in the offensive play calling.

Giants 35
Vikings, 28 if Freeman plays, 17 if Cassel plays.
Vikings fan since Nov. 6, 1966. Annoying Packer fans since Nov. 7, 1966

They certainly will be when the Giants jump out to a 21 -3 half time lead
