If I remember the rules correctly, a veteran's full salary is guaranteed if he makes the opening day roster (or something like that, or it was like that when the last union contract was negotiated). Considering we will probably be playing in the nickel >75% and Mitchell plays ST it seems smart to probably dress an extra DB rather than a LB. Frazier said Kalil has some technique issues to fix. Reason for his struggles.

Jeff Locke told me it was the same issue with each punt, "my steps" leading to kick were off. Said it's an easy fix. We'll see. #Vikings
Desmond Bishop said he needs "luck" to get on the field. I asked him what he meant, 20 sec later, "I don't know how to explain it."
