According to TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline, "a number of teams" believe there's a "real chance" Stanford ILB Shayne Skov will go undrafted.

Skov had a big college name, but lacks NFL-caliber athleticism and has injury red flags. "He’s a good guy but slow with major medical red flags," said one college scouting director. "The whole (pre-draft) process has hurt him." Skov didn't work out at the Combine. He ran a 5.09 forty at Stanford's Pro Day.

I think he's worth a flier.

A good target for that extra 7th round pick we got perhaps. 5.09 is so slow though, but his coach was just on the NFL network broadcast saying he plays big in big games though

Crap there goes Murray, damnit! Was hoping he'd still be there in 5 more picks.

Wondering now why Skov is falling. I thought he was a projected 2nd-3rd rounder.
Probably concerns about his speed and ability to cover in the NFL. Plus, hasn't he had multiple knee injuries?

I doubt the Vikes would have drafted him anyway after selecting Bridgewater in R1. I expect them to look to the defense again.

AJ was a good deal for Cin. I bet he beats out Dalton by the playoffs.

Don't like Mettenberger at all so at this point I'd wait till even the 7th and look for a practice squad QB project to take a look at.

Poor Zach Mettenberger. Weren't some folks projecting him as the Vikings 2nd round pick at #40?

Vikings will pick up a couple of scrub defensive backs and wide receivers to finish out.

What did you think of the Teddy pick Jim? I was beat and went to bed shortly after we got him and was kind of out of it due to dental work.
