This back stuff has been mentioned before. He passed a physical as part of the trade so I assume he's ok. Him missing TC should be a concern. Can he even go a full game at this point? They face the Lions week 1 and I expect them to run at Parsons. He's not considered the best run defender and the Lions have an OL that can dominate and a couple change of pace backs. I think the injury report comes out Thursday. On our side Nailor looks to be a go. Again have to see the report.

Packers' Micah Parsons has facet joint sprain; may be able to play Sunday vs. Lions with epidural
Micah Parsons' back injury continues to linger following his trade to Green Bay.

Parsons is dealing with an L4/L5 facet joint sprain, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, according to sources informed of the situation.

The Packers star pass rusher might be able to play Week 1 against the Detroit Lions on Sunday by taking an epidural, Rapoport added.

That doesn't sound like a minor issue. I've never met a person with a vertebrae disk issue that was generally OK, and I've never even heard of one who has a sprain involving their vertebrae. Not saying it can't happen or is necessarily a major issue, and as someone else pointed out Parsons must have been put through a physical as part of the trade, but it sure doesn't sound like this is a minor issue given he's mostly sat out of practice since joining the Packers.

One does wonder if the Cowboys knew something the Packers didn't about this. Time will tell.
