I more I look at it the more I think this saints run defense is overrated.

They’ve lost Rankins and Davenport recently and the last 3 games they faced Carolina, Tennessee and Indy since those 2 have went down.

Carolina was blown out and McCaffrey was only given 9 carries, Derrick Henry didn’t play against them and Indy was blown out and Mack was limited to 11 carries.

In turn, they haven’t had much of a test since those 2 d lineman went down. 2 of the teams they played quickly turned one dimensional because they were getting blown out and obviously dion Lewis isn’t the threat Henry is for Tennessee. They haven’t seen a RB like cook (that hasn’t been abandoned) since those 2 went down.

We have to pound cook and mattison early and often and do everything we can to not turn one dimensional. Which in turn means our defense needs to make some big stops

The Viking offense is healthy and strong today.
The Saints offense has been tearing it up the last several weeks.

Neither defense will shut down either offense completely, but with luck, just enough gets done while in "purple."

Vikings take it 31-24, or something close to that.

Go Vikes!!!

NEVER, in my life, have I predicted a Viking loss. And this goes back to 1961. Nothing has changed; Vikings 28-17. On another note, would it be a face mask penalty if a Viking defender grabbed Kamara's nose ring, and jerked it out of his nose?
Don't pick a fight with an old Viking. If he is too old to fight, he'll just kill you.

As long as the defender can get the hand in without grabbing the facemask I say no.
But I will say it would prob be painful as crap!!
I just wanna die as a Super Bowl Champion Viking Fan!!

Defense needs stops , field goals allowed would be a win.we either need to shorten the game by running both of our backs hard, or we need Cousins to just let it loose and pile up points. And finally,we need to play the role of Lucy and pull back the football and let the Charlie Brown Saints fall on there ####. Vikes just do enough 24-23.

I think Kirk will get frazzled/tense in the raucous environment of the Superdome, and the offense won't be able to stay on the field long enough to rest the defense effectively, similar to the Green Bay game.

As a result, Brees will find the openings in our secondary to make enough plays, and the Saints will play with a little more heart after 2 consecutive years of playoff heartbreak.
Nailed it!
