Final Predictions - Vikes/Saints, Score and Winner
I'll go first. 21-10, Saints.
I think Kirk will get frazzled/tense in the raucous environment of the Superdome, and the offense won't be able to stay on the field long enough to rest the defense effectively, similar to the Green Bay game.
As a result, Brees will find the openings in our secondary to make enough plays, and the Saints will play with a little more heart after 2 consecutive years of playoff heartbreak.

This is going to sound CRAZY....but I like the Vikings to go to New Orleans and win a squeaker 28-27. I just feel like the Vikings have gotten all of the bad football out of them and they will bounce back. I think the offense will step up and even with the Vikings being down two corners...I think they get it done!!!

It's one thing bracing myself for the Vikings to lose in the playoffs but it's even worse if it's to a team that I absolutely despise. That being said,
48-10 Vikings.
48-10 Vikings.

Saints have good field position all day, with their punt and kick return units getting huge returns.
Offense plays okay on the back of Cook, but it is not enough. Saints win 27-16.
I have picked the Vikings in every playoff game they have played in since I started following them 30 years ago. I am trying something different to see if that works.

I like the reverse psychology attempt so I am gonna do the same.StumpHunter wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 7:46 pm Saints have good field position all day, with their punt and kick return units getting huge returns.

Saints will be up by 2 pts. Cousins will lead us down to FG range and clock ball with 2 seconds left, giving Bailey a chance to win it with a 26 yarder. He will miss it to the left.
See what I did there? Will see if ur new method works Stump
I will try it!

Watch out, there is always a chance that Cousins will down it instead of spike it in that momentBowhunting Viking wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 8:34 pmI like the reverse psychology attempt so I am gonna do the same.StumpHunter wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 7:46 pm Saints have good field position all day, with their punt and kick return units getting huge returns.

Re: Final Predictions - Vikes/Saints, Score and Winner
I hit a good streak for losing when I was picking them to lose and they kept winning. Then I picked a win over the Pack and boom. Bottom line we have a good team that fought through injuries and the other BS and made the post season. That's a huge plus. No team will destroy us. I also liked the fact that Zim rested our guys. We'll see how that works. My pick is 31-28 Saints with a short missed Bailey FG preventing OT.

My favorite hockey and basketball team lost yesterday so hopefully the sports God will give me a Vikings win. I'm sticking to a 24-17 W.

38-27 Saints
Our D just isn't good enough, especially with Kendricks nursing a quad. Hope I'm wrong.

Re: Final Predictions - Vikes/Saints, Score and Winner
I am having a hard time coming up with a score yet. Will post after I decide.
I will predict that I hope Zimmer out coaches Crybaby Sean the way Vrabel did Belichick last night. That was priceless watching Bill swearing and complaining about Vrabel using the same loophole tactic to run time off the clock the same way Bill did and stood there smirking about it against the Jets earlier in the season.
I hope to see that same look on Peyton's face today.
I'm wanting to say that we silence all the haters with a 37- 34 Dan Bailey game winning FG.
Ok that's what I'm going with.
Kirk, come out and play the game of your career and Rhodes, finally play a penalty free game and limit Thomas's receptions today PLEASE
