If the NFCC Game is packers vs Saints .....who do we root for (and must assume Brees is healthy , can’t use Teddy B as an excuse
I just think I wouldn’t watch

That's an awful question, and I refuse to partake in this discussion.VikingPaul73 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 8:04 pm I’m watching the packers game tonight and thought of a very difficult question that I don’t know how to answer

Right.
It has created a discussion that people are partaking in. In other words, the same reason anybody says any of their bs on here.
GB just drives me insane. I still dont think they are all that good but the media will keep pumping the air into that ball. I wouldnt be surprised at all if Mahomes is back this weak vs the Vikes. But of course, the one game he has to miss is vs. GB. I literally hate everything about that teammansquatch wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 10:34 am The playoff picture is taking some shape, but it is far from definitive. The Vikings are currently #4 in the NFC, but I would argue that we are undervalued. The top 4 NFC teams are SF, GB, NO, and us.
Consider this:
NO has played a single divisional game, at home vs. the Bucs. (They won.)
SF has also only played a single divisional game, on the road vs. the Rams. (They won.)
GB has played three divisional games, going 3-0, but only one of those games was on the road.
We've played three divisional games going 1-2, but all 3 of our games were on the road.
Very easy to see that of the four we've faced by far the most daunting schedule. This mix will change in the coming 6 weeks.
I'm not sold on SF. You look at who they have beaten and the only signature win is on the road against the Rams in week 2. I don't put a lot of stock in head to head wins in SEP amongst playoff teams.
NO is similar. Most wins are versus pretender teams. Nice road win in SEA though.
GB is a bit different. They've feasted on wimpy teams and been lucky against the better teams on their schedule. No Mahomes in KC, Referee assisted victory vs. Lions. They got us in week 2 when the offense wasn't clicking. I like our chances vs them in our house. The issue here though is we need them to lose at least one more than us so we can knock them out for good or we at best will be a 5 seed. The Lions might not have anything to play for in week 17.
If Mahomes is back, he won't be 100%. He'll be favoring the knee and one sack or hit might send him back to the sidelines.Pondering Her Percy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 12:19 pm GB just drives me insane. There is a reasonable argument that two to three of their wins were luck. No way they win in KC if Mahomes is playing. Ref's won them the game vs. DET. Even the SNF crew called that one out. Refs helped in the game vs. us, but I'm not sure the week 2 iteration of our passing game wins that game even if the Cook penalty doesn't happen. Week 9 Iteration is a different story.Pondering Her Percy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 12:19 pm GB just drives me insane. I get what you are saying about divisional games, but outside of those three games, the Vikings schedule has been pretty easy.mansquatch wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 10:34 am The playoff picture is taking some shape, but it is far from definitive.
