A rookie. And he's isn't all that bad either, but there's no telling if he holds up tonight or not. He did decent against the Rams and they obviously have a really strong interior.Pondering Her Percy wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 1:33 pmAgreed. Yeah he is a giant mauler and his only good trait is run blocking. He’s always been a brutal pass blocker. Any idea who’s filling in? Our interior should be able to shred these guys just as much as our DEs. Griff will have a tough day going against brown but Hunter should feastPacificNorseWest wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 12:37 pm
And keep in mind, DJ Fluker is out this game. He had been essentially a bust early in his career, but he was one of the reasons why the Seahawks have been so successful running the ball. He was doing great at run blocking. He isn't playing tonight.

What's the injury report looking like? Is Kendricks playing?
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

I'm really not that worried tonight if we can get off to a fast start, we match up well and if Zim can get his way and run the ball well, we should control this game.

Cuz is 4-13 in prime time and is probably gonna go 4-14. Hope I am wrong but not too pumped about this game.

Arg....
Pretty typical game for the Vikings this year. Again. Punchless for the most part. Lots of sloppy play by the receivers with drops. Blocking is a problem yet again. Offense can't convert on 3rd down. And energy level lacking. Until right at the end when it doesn't matter anymore.
And did I mention the Seahawk defense isn't really all that good??
Hard to say where they go from here. This is becoming a regular thing now. It feels normal already. They fall behind and seem to wait until the game is out of reach to wake up and try to do anything meaningful. By that time, who really cares?
I think a losing season is now a real possibility. If that happens, after everything that was invested in this team, heads will have to roll. The only question is whose heads?

Punchless, indeed. And even defensively I thought a few times and a few players did not put forth an effort worthy of being a starter in the National Football League.VikingLord wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 11:41 pm Arg....

Seattle's defense is better than people think though...They have the best LB in the game, one of the best pass rushers and an up and coming secondary. Most importantly, they're energetic, tackle well and hustle at all times. They play football the right way and that makes them tougher, despite any lack of talent they may have in some areas. The Vikings definitely should have done more though on offense.
Losing the season is definitely a possibility, but it seems like every other team vying for that 6th seed doesn't want to win either. Despite how frustrated this is, they have too much talent for me to mail it in when they control their own destiny.
If the Vikings do not make the postseason, it will surely be because the offense never figured anything out, thus DeFelippo will be gone.
