Alex Boone was limited in his return to Vikings practice on Friday because of his hip injury, while Stefon Diggs was limited because of the groin injury that kept him out of practice last Friday. David Morgan (knee) did not practice, while Zach Line (knee) was limited.

Hmm Diggs with the groin injury. They take a long time to heal with very little to heal them but time.

I was unaware of Diggs groin injury until I saw this post, but you could definitely see it. I was wondering what was wrong with him last night. He lacked that little bit of extra explosiveness he usually has. Still played a solid game though.

Now that he has enough snaps to qualify, Pro Football Focus ranks #Vikings T.J. Clemmings as the NFL's worst tackle. He's 77th out of 77.

How is that possible? Bradford didn't even get hurried last night. Clemmings has surprised me, to be honest. He is playing quite well.

Jeremiah Sirles received more praise from Mike Zimmer in continued spot duty. But no starter changes imminent, per Zimmer.
#Vikings coach Mike Zimmer on whether he will bring in any competition for Blair Walsh: "No. Not yet.''
Mike Zimmer on Alex Boone: "Fundamentally, he was very good. ... Physical in the run game, it was his best game" with the Vikings.

He was hurried. I think the bar was set pretty low with Kalil's play. Clemmings hasn't been the disaster I thought he might but his play is still well below average.

I agree. That was easily Boone's best performance as a Viking. Hopefully there are better yet to come.

Most OL pressures allowed (through Wk 3)

Remmers 12
Decker 12
A.Smith 11
Massie 10
Fusco 10
J.James 9
DeCastro 9
Kalil 9
Peat 9
This is why I wish I knew what was going on with Harris. I said from day 1 that he was a better RG than Fusco and these stats show that. He wasnt even close to being that bad last year. He's a cheaper option than Fusco as well

Cheers to TJ Clemmings too. He's been a pretty solid fill-in for Kalil. If he continues to play like this, we could have our LT and can look more into getting a RT next offseason. I also think Bradford makes this line look a little better than anyone thinks. He seems to get the ball out a lot quicker than Teddy.
