These are stats off the top of my head, so they may not be right, but let's see...

The Vikings have one turnover this season, and it came by the defense against GB.
They have not yet run for 60 yards in a game, and yet are 3-0.
The Vikings defense has 16 sacks this season, if I count/remember right (how do you sack Cam Newton 8 times??? :D )

Their kicker has missed two XPs and two FGs, and they are still 3-0.
The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." ‪#‎SKOL2018

Zimmer pointed to Shamar Stephen as the primary catalyst in the team's improved run defense.
Vikings guard Alex Boone (hip) "should be OK," says coach Mike Zimmer. Boone had MRI today after injury Sunday at Carolina.

Mike Zimmer said he's gotten two text messages and a phone call from Bill Parcells since the Vikings' game yesterday -- including one at 5:30 this morning. The Hall of Fame coach is still up that early, even in retirement? "He said he's so invested in this team, he had to get up and get a workout in to relieve the stress," Zimmer said.

Can he coach the offense remotely? Maybe block a little?

Ha! I was going to post something similar. In any case, the Viking ship has a Big Tuna on board.

Great Video; fun to see another side of Zim and the obvious respect between those two.

The walleyes of MN better be ready for some flashy lures when Prime Time shows up!

Zimmer on why Charles Johnson's production isn't there: "I don’t know. That’s a good question. I don’t know." Honest, interesting response.

I agree. I think I predicted preseason that Stephen and Linval would be the future at DT for this team, because Floyd isn't great against the run and can't stay healthy.

Most of our pleasant surprises have come on defense, but its nice to get some mid and later round guys developing into real contributors.

Sounds like Boone is OK and Pruitt will play Sunday. Morgan might be out awhile but won't be put on IR (good news)

#Vikings bring G Willie Beavers up from practice squad, sign WR Isaac Fruechte and T Sean Hickey to practice squad, release Julian Wilson.
The Beaver is getting the nudge...to the 53 man roster.

Former Vikings C John Sullivan is signing with the #Redskins today, source said. He worked out for them earlier.

Beavers played for Western Michigan University where I work so I'm excited to see him get some playing time. They've got a great offensive line coach here and have been tearing up the MAC Conference on the ground for 2 years now.
