Your location says Sweden. Did you fly into the TC to attend the game?

Where in Sweden?
Travelled to the US specifically for the game(but did some vacationing as well, incl Nashville for that game).
People tend not to believe me but I'm actually a season ticket holder :)

I'm from Gothenburg.

Yooteborg? Nice. Beautiful city. One of my friends did his PhD there and I got to visit him in your fair city before going to his wedding up in Ostersund and then over to Stockholm. Loved it all!

Sorry Jim. I knew I was pushing the limits by using that phrase to make a point, and as a moderator I know you've got to say something. IrishViking claimed not to understand why people would take offense to being spoken to that way, so I thought if I spoke to him that way he'd get it. I'm normally better mannered and I won't do it again. :)

Seriously though, don't be a dick.
Why am I being a dick when I speak that way to you while Boone can say the same thing to the fans and you don't understand why they take offense? You didn't even buy me a stadium!

Honestly if you had said that to me and 63490 of my closest friends at the same time too I wouldn't have cared haha

Well you might be somewhat rare in that way. My opinion is that Boone is acting a lot more super entitled speaking to people who pay his salary that way than they are for wanting common courtesy. Either way it hardly matters, Boone's statement was a PR gaffe which probably won't amount to much. Cheers :beerchug:

I didn't think Boone played bad... Kalil gave up two sacks and Fusco had the second worst night IMO.
Smith actually has improved since the most since the preseason games IMO.

I think making a statement like that is dumb, but I could myself saying something like that if
I was frustrated.

Reminds me of that joke where the teacher does the math on how much each kids family contributed to his salary, paid them the pennies it was, and proceeded to cuss them out.

I get the gist of what you are saying

But a professional is upset because a bunch of people made his job harder and may have contributed to a false start or two and says

"Shut the #### up"

and the response is

"No you shut the #### up you entitled #### we pay your salary, can you believe he swore at us? What a piece of ####"

Hey, its a free country, you get upset about what you want to get upset about.

2 false starts in a row really grinded my gears, I think they were both by smith.

I'm watching a replay of the game. Kalil is the first to have a false start, it was silent in the stadium. He just had a brain fart.

Edit to add: 2nd false start is Andre Smith's in the 2nd quarter. Silent.

Next play, Fusco false starts... it was silent.

How many did we have total? That's 3/3 so far where the stadium noise was NOT the issue. Apart from lacking tact, Boone was just plain wrong.

Boone can run his mouth when he can actually block like he is getting paid to do. What a disaster this deal has been so far for our team.

Wasn't Alex Boone decent before?

Fusco has never been good, and Kalil is done. Why don't they start Shirles or Easton or something? Hell what is Kliensasser up to?
