Barkley is an impressive signing???
They also got rid of the best kicker they ever had, and one of the best ever, without another option.
He had some decent games in preseason. I think if the Cardnials could have kept him they would have.
Against Denver he was 20-29 completions with a QB rating of 120.2

I'm not sure he is better than Gould, unless Gould is missing his kicking leg. It seems like an odd scenario, IMO.
Sounds like he had a rocky camp and preseason. It's still a shocker though, considering his tenure and solid 2015. Maybe it was a money thing like Sitton?

Gould uncharacteristically missed some key kicks last season so perhaps that was a factor as well.
I think he had a salary of 4.2 or 4.5 million this year. Not sure if they was trying to free up some money.
But he always was a solid kicker.
Makes one wonder how much longer they will keep Cutler.

After guys like Rhodes, Kendricks and Floyd battled injuries this summer, looks like the #Vikings will have all their starters on D in Wk 1.
