I totally agree. I think the best descriptor of him is PUTZ. He is just such a putz.

Or are they just trying to push Smith?
I'm sure Clemmings has improved (it's hard to be worse than arguably one of the worst starting offensive linemen in the league in 2015), but not to a great degree. To me that signals that Smith is closer to Clemmings' level than I find comfortable. I'm already missing Phil. Harris' issues are also an unexpected big blow. I'd feel more comfortable with him at RT than Smith or Clemmings. I fear we're going to head into the season (and the next offseason) with major immediate and long-term questions again at LT, C and RT (and possibly RG, though early indications are that Fusco is looking OK again).

I liked this part in particular;
The culture change is evident with Tony Sparano running the drills for the offensive line. The tempo is fast paced and the hands-on coaching approach is really benefiting some of the younger players who need coaching. Every day, it seems a young player improves upon one area they were struggling with. That is the type of instruction that is needed to improve a unit that struggled in 2015.

Interesting that AT my have jumped Wright. Wright playing a lot with the twos. AT, Diggs, CJ could be starting three until Treadwell puts it all together.

We still have a lot of time yet in the preseason. But I agree...Surprised that Wright hasn't been doing that much so far.
Patterson the longer he is out the less chance he will have to grab a spot.
Wonder if we are going to see a wide reciever trade.

Lots of Nickel defense work again with the Hunter/Robison/Johnson/Griffen super pass rusher package. #VikingsCamp

So many Beaver joks :rofl:

Cordarrelle Patterson and Jerick McKinnon are expected to suit up and take part in some individual drills today, per Mike Zimmer

I think Beaver "the Cleaver" could be a good moniker if he manages to be able to "dent" the opposition.

Griffen on Kalil: "Gotten a lot better. He cares now, trusts in himself." Griffen also has taken note of Kalil's technique tweaks. @Nate_Denny asked him to clarify because he said that unprompted. Said just sees more passion, fire, etc. However that's quantified.

Nice.
Cordarrelle Patterson, in pads for the first time since getting hurt last Friday, is the first Viking on the practice field this afternoon.
