Zimmer: The guy that has been impressive to me is Edmond Robinson. He'll show up a lot in preseason games. Mike Zimmer on LB Edmond Robinson: "I think he has a chance to be a good football player.''
Mike Zimmer: "I expect a lot out of (Anthony) Barr and (Eric) Kendricks.''

Mike Zimmer on Trae Waynes: "The kid has got great acceleration.''

Mike Zimmer on Keith Baxter: "He's in the hospital.'' Won't say anymore.
Mike Zimmer said that when Rhett Ellison gets back he will have "quite a bit of competition." Rookie tight end David Morgan impressed him.

Stefon Diggs, by the way, is practicing today after sitting out the second half of yesterday's practice.
Nice battle on deep pass between last years rookie trae Waynes and this years Laquon Treadwell. Waynes wins it
Locke punts for the first time in camp and it probably went 50-55 yards with a south wind behind him.
After about four in the 50-55 yard range. Locke hit one deep that rolled behind Sherels. Was a 60+ yard punt that rolled out of bounds.
Really like what I'm seeing so far today on Trae Waynes and David Morgan.
David Morgan gets open on Stephen Weatherly who dropped into coverage. Was a good route.
And now Shaun Hill nearly throws a pick. Dropped I think by Griffin
Harrison pass rush. Leaps to deflect Teddy pass.
Griffen gets of the edge for what probably would have been a sack. Teddy throws an errant pass that was picked by Sendejo.
Teddy got someone on the hard count again. I think Linval.
Hill hits Pruitt across the middle over Exum.
Teddy tries to find Johnson on a fade up the sideline. Rhodes with great coverage on the play.
Diggs, Johnson, and Treadwell stood out as WR's. Roberson and Kearse as DB's. Mack Alexander was beaten by Thielen badly.
Danielle Hunter bullrushes Smith in elevens. Teddy scrambles for a gain
Diggs with sweet footwork on a comeback to beat Harrison Smith.
Stoudermire after a few bad drops, runs a clean route inside for a great reception./quote]

O-lineman are really working on driving through blocks and engaging with their man. Lots of instruction and coaching.

Looks like things flipped once the pads went on. Offense not having an easy time anymore.

Brandon Fusco is fired up to be in pads. Has a ton of energy in practice. #VikingsCamp
WR's working on comeback routes. Thielen and Diggs' footwork are standing out.
Zimmer said he had an encouraging conversation with Trae Waynes yesterday, and he's responded with a good showing today.
First kick from Walsh in training camp is 23 yards. He hits it. Then successful from 25 & 35.

Tons of people freaking out about Mack Alexander. It takes time. Has to learn the scheme and adjust. He shows flashes.

Zimmer done the same thing with hunter last year. Mack will be ok, like you said it takes some time adjusting.

Thanks for the updates guys, this is great stuff.

Treadwell sounds like he showed up to Camp to compete. Very encouraging.

I'm fearful for the OL given the Harris mystery. Glad to hear Fusco has energy and that Kalil has seen positives from Sparano. Injuries on the R side are a scary proposition right now, but it is still very early.

I'm wondering if Harris is dealing with diabetes....or similar.
