Thats a shame. Loadholt had worked himself into (what I believe) was a very good player, and then it was completely derailed by injuriesdead_poet wrote:Turner speaks. Not the news I wanted to hear on Loadholt. Seems confident with Sully, though.

I suppose it's only just June. There's still ample time before camp.DK Sweets wrote:Thats a shame. Loadholt had worked himself into (what I believe) was a very good player, and then it was completely derailed by injuries

2016 Season General Comments (pressers, practice notes, etc)
http://www.1500espn.com/vikings-2/2016/ ... al-season/“It’s a little extra motivation,” Kalil said. “Obviously I want to stay a Viking the rest of my career. Play for four or five more years, or who knows how much longer I can play. I want to compete and play at a high level as long as I’m in the NFL.”
Kalil (6-7, 317) said he feels optimistic after seeing more consistent play with relief in his knees. Without needing any procedures, Kalil said he was in the weight room by February as opposed to June, July or August.
“Yeah, there’s absolutely no pain in my knees anymore,” Kalil said. “My hip feels awesome. I’m feeling pretty good compared to a couple years ago when my knee was kind of garbage, so to speak. It’s nice to be healthy. That definitely made me mentally tougher throughout the year. Grew up a lot, so just ready to play and have fun.”

Re: 2016 Season General Comments (pressers, practice notes,
Hey guys I've been absent from here for a little while now because I've been so busy with work and coaching so I have to catch up on my reading of the board but one thing I wanted to point out....
I've watched all the OTA highlights on vikings.com and I've noticed that every time they show first team highlights, Mike Harris has been in at RG. Has there been any report on how the battle is going with him and Fusco. Looks like Harris has the upper hand which is fine with me because I'm a big Harris fan but has anyone heard news on this competition?

I've heard the opposite, actually. That Fusco has been with the ones more. I'm sure the reps are pretty even, though.Pondering Her Percy wrote:Hey guys I've been absent from here for a little while now because I've been so busy with work and coaching so I have to catch up on my reading of the board but one thing I wanted to point out....

Re: 2016 Season General Comments (pressers, practice notes,
regardless of how it shakes out our depth on the o line is going to be incredible compared to last season. there's a chance our best two 2015 lineman (harris and berger) will be our top two backups.

OTA #7
http://m.vikings.com/news/article-1/3-O ... c1698d96211. Humming along
Simply put, the Vikings offense looked sharp. With the third week of OTAs underway, receivers and running backs seem to have found a rhythm in the passing game with quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Every receiver had multiple catches, the highlight being Charles Johnson's 55-yard touchdown catch down the right sideline. Another strong point for the offense was ball security, as the Vikings offense didn't throw an interception for the first time during OTAs.

This is good news. I was afraid the knees kept getting worse, every down he played. I think just by having his knees feeling better and being able to rely on them, he becomes a much better LT. Lotsa good news for Teddy.dead_poet wrote: http://www.1500espn.com/vikings-2/2016/ ... al-season/

Via Ben Goessling:
Sharrif Floyd and Anthony Barr were again missing from Vikings practice on Tuesday, and guard Alex Boone also was a non-participant in the team's third OTA open to the media. Linval Joseph was doing some drills on the side, and Captain Munnerlyn was gone to be with his wife while she gave birth to the couple's newest child.

F.I.O.A. (Fairness In Offseason Act): Our QB Teddy Bridgewater has been fantastic last 2 days OTA. Deep shots on time, leadership exquisite

Edmond Robinson had an INT during team drills today and got some first-team reps with Anthony Barr still out. Looked good.
