Lmao what pressure up front it was from his blind side and for somme ungodly reason they were going deep.Football38 wrote: Teddy had an average game, much better than last game. But he has to throw it away there if he senses any pressure up front. Poor decision...but still, the Vikings played great. Good for them to know they hung with Arizona. Builds confidence for the next game.

I mean, the game was a lot closer than i think most of us thought it was going to be.

I'm not happy with the loss but I'm happy with how Zimmer made this team look considering the weapons on the bench.

He had guys in his face as well up front, gotta throw it away. All year he has held the ball to long...seriously. He has help as well, look at the YAC tonight from his receivers, especially the tight end. Teddy had a chance to tie the game or win it, and it did not happen. Still a great Vikings team like I said earlier, just need to improve offensive line and decision making.UKno1VIKING wrote: Being hit from behind?! Wow. I've just about had it with this board. What a joke. Teddy played his heart out with hardly any help at all, AGAIN and more jump on the teddy sucks wagon. Wow

Even though Teddy played better tonight I agree with Jim there. The reason we lost this game is the 3 fumbles though.Mothman wrote: Because I'm talking about the last play of the game... the one that just happened. Why is that a problem?

His eyes were deep the whole time. They were taking an end zone shotTSonn wrote:Let's at least hear the presser with an explanation of the play first. Maybe even look at the film to see where he was throwing.

In typical Vikings fashion defeat was snatched from the jaws of victory. Pffffft!!!

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

There are times to be aggressive and there are times to be conservative. This was certainly the latter. I think most of us on this board could feel this result coming before the ball was even snapped. There's no chance Arizona is allowing a catch and a receiver to get out of bounds on that play. The best result was going to be a throw out of bounds. I would say this is hindsight, but I think the majority of people watching the game were thinking the same thing before the play occurred.

Turnovers cost the game. Not just the one at the end.

YOu can see the play at NFL.com. By my count it was 2.5 seconds from the snap to the hit that caused teh fumble. Of course, I could be off.TSonn wrote:Let's at least hear the presser with an explanation of the play first. Maybe even look at the film to see where he was throwing. If Zimmer says he called for a quick throw and Teddy was going rogue, sure that play is on Teddy. If the call was to win the game, the play is on the coach and OLine.

No he didn't have anyone in his face ehich is why he stepped up.Football38 wrote: He had guys in his face as well up front, gotta throw it away. All year he has held the ball to long...seriously. Sorry, DkK, I misread your post.
Anyway, I singled out Teddy because he made the critical mistake. In that situation his primnray responsibiluty was to make sure they didn't lose the opportunity to attempt the FG. That's situational football. He has to know he won't have much time in that situation and make a quick decision. He can't hang onto the ball that long in that situation.
