Refs are moronic, I just reject the premise it is some conspiracy to help out certain teams, I do realize the state of the NBA, but I think there is alot to dispute that theory in regards to the NFL.
It's funny you say something about the NBA with all the flopping Rodgers does.

Honestly it doesn't matter, the Lions had plenty of chances to finish the game so even though it obviously is a sore point we all have to move on and accept that #### happens... Congrats Jordy I hope when we play week 17 the packers don't get so lucky.
Edit: 1:30 int he morning here I have work so I'm bouncing. Goodnight all hope you can let this stuff not bother you and get some sleep too...

We did get lucky and it was a welcome sight after that terrible no call on Abbredaris being interfered with in FG range.

I agree, let week 17 be for the Crown.

Yeah, you keep saying that but you keep replying here. Um?

I can see why people call you a troll now. I never really agreed before, but now I can see why people go there. Admittedly, I'm not on here NEARLY as much as I used to be, but wow. You can't be serious. You've been shown video footage, still shots, comments from officials, various rules and explanations, multiple different media sources, etc. ALL pointing towards this being a bad call, or a questionable call at best, and you're replying to every freaking comment in this thread with 100% certainty that it was the RIGHT call?! 100% certainty? Wow. No part of you is like, "Nah, you know what...maybe we got lucky, but I'll take it!"? Nope, not you, purpnation. You're going to swear up and down that it was 100% the right call, when there is so much evidence to the contrary. Un-freaking-believable. That, my friend, is trollish.

I'm surprised so many people have wasted so much time trying to actually spell it out for you. Good for them, but back to Vikings football for me. Also, "you're done talking about it here" for the 42nd time, so I don't expect a response. That's fine, though.

The general consensus (salute) by the end of all this will be that it was not a penalty but most refs would make the call anyway. This article does a good job questioning if that way of officiating is really what's best. I would also add and question why a ref is making that call which clearly has a huge impact at the end of the game without being 100% about the call.

I don't believe there's a conspiracy for popular or big market teams getting more calls, but I do believe that superstar calls happen all the time. Heck, it is just commonplace in the NBA now and I think it has carried over to the NFL. For example: Rodgers doesn't make a lot of mistakes (because he is a great QB) so when he does and complains about a penalty, it puts a shred of doubt in the ref's mind about what he actually saw.

All the officials? Huh? I've seen several officials say it was the correct call. In fact it appears the dissenting voice is the minority as it stands now.

Evidence to the contrary? According to who? I saw a thumb hook and push the facebar of my QB, immediately after they missed a blatant PI on the Lions, it is all a matter of viewpoint and opinion despite my assertion that it was by the books. Which im respectfully aware of.

I am not a troll for defending a call that most league officials seem to agree with. The replay is there, I cant force you to see something you don't want to.

Yep, those darn Lions. They found a way to ruin my night. I was so mad my face was hot. LOL. I drove to work with my windows down. It's 30 degrees.

Gives this face a whole new meaning for me: :steamed: lol.

Oh well, we just have to take care of business and not worry about outside nonsense. Would've been nice for GB to have another divisional loss, though. Poor Lions fans... Sometimes I think we have it bad, but MNF and TNF reminded me that, well, it could always be worse.

Doesn't matter. We got this! :govikes:

As I predicted, Jordy, Volume 3 of your "I'm out of here" declarations was just as honest as the first two.
Jordysghost wrote:I misheard Dean Blandinos explanation and thought it was the NFL's my apologies.
You also lied about Mike Carey. And were corrected about it, and refused to retract the lie.
As to the call, well as I said.
"As you said," which version? You keep changing it as the thread continues. First it was "pull," then "hook," then "yank," then "pull"—and then, when you got no purchase whatever on the ludicrous who-you-gonna-trust-me-or-your-lying-eyes notion that any kind of pulling took place, you changed to "push" and "ha ha, the rule says 'push'!", but then your interlocutors managed to shove into your consciousness the fact that the rule actually says "grasp and push," after which you changed your approach to "heh I'm outta here" (Volume 2) but then came back to claim that the Detroit defender's thumb had "caught" on Rogers' facemask—which is just the same "pull"/"hook"/"yank" line you were routed out of earlier, but worse given that a thumb "catching" on a facemask is not what the word "grasp" means. And now you're back to claiming a "hook" that demonstrably did not happen. (And claiming, with zero evidence, that your contrary-to-fact description is supported by "several officials," while your opponents are in "the minority.")

I simply have to conclude that you have no interest whatsoever in having people who read your comments give them any credibility. You are perfectly comfortable claiming to be true things that anyone who glances at a slow-motion replay (or reads the actual comments from Blandino and Carey) can tell are in fact clearly false. The level of homerism, dishonesty, and trollery you have exhibited in this thread is just shocking to me.

And, of course, you simply Keep. Going. Without end. Ugh.

I never retracted my assertion that there was a hook, ever. Ever, I incorrectly stated that it was irrelevant, but never once retracted it.

Eh whatever dude, you say im claiming with no evidence what the majority of others believe, just as several Vikings fans are in reverse.

Im trying to exit this thread indeed, but I feel when directly addresses it only courteous to return the favor.

Homerism, yea man. You keep on crying about calls and playing mental gymnastics to believe the Packers are favored, im sure it satisfies you immensely.. or not.

what pass interference it could have been called on either the lions or the packers both team committed pass interference. the lion had better position and was looking for the ball, the was contact, yes, but the packer grabbed the lion player around the neck

JESUS CHRIST.

I clicked on this thread expecting 20-ish posts. This ended up being as big as some of our gameday threads.
