look at howsucessfull organizations trade, and we havent been one in a long time, know when to trade players at the right time. Khalil is a failure that the organization wont admit....I would trade him in a heart beat. Most everyone else is VERY tradeable. Look at what Dallas did the the Vikes with a big trade for what was the "Best RB in football".....We were gutted for years and they went on to win SuperBowls. Successful teams trade players that are good and about to get BIG contracts...you get good young talent that is cheaper and benefit for a few years. Thats the way it works. You cant be sentimental or expect a player who is really good to spend a whole career with your team. Their contract will balloon and take your team down. I think we all hesitate because we have no confidence that Spielman will get the better end of ANY deal. The one team that we worked some magic on is Seattle and that has been so-so...more that we got rid of many potentially expensive Headaches (literally in Harvins case).

Dude what are you talking about?? Have you watched Kalil this year or do you just not pay any attention?? He's been phenomenal this year.
Spielman's deal with Seattle was so-so??? We ended up getting Xavier Rhodes because of that Seattle trade plus Jerick McKinnon the following year. So yeah, what a "so-so" trade.
Do you realize that this isn't the 80's anymore and there aren't teams out there that are just going to give up 10 players for AP? I think you play too much Madden or something because you truly are living in fantasy land

Kalil is one of the top left tackles in the game this year..... what are you smoking! Ship some my way!
And there will be no reverse herschel walker trade. Stuff like that died after the Reggie Bush failure.
Khalil has been as spotty a player as could be. Is he currently doing a good job, yes. Has he shown ANY indication that he is a long term anchor, NO. My only point is that a good GM will trade players WHEN THEY HAVE VALUE...its the only way to get value...holding on to players too long is not the best policy.

Matt Khallifa has played well so far this year, which is a wondrous surprise.

Neither is trading away a fairly young guy that's spent time in your system that might actually be good with the hope the draft pick you acquire (which will be lower than what you used to draft him) will supply you with better talent than the hole you're creating.

Exactly, if you traded away your players when they have value you would never have a good team. Kalil made the pro bowl as a rookie, had a bad year, now is in pace for the pro bowl again. Please tell me how he has been bad again?

Without mentioning member's names (you need only check on the Kalil Topic) I think it really sucks when certain posters message the same crap over and over again and more often than not are proven to be quite foolish.
Kalil sucks, Ricky is an idiot, L Joseph, what a wast of money, he sucks too. Blah blah blah

This has nothing to do with us, but I'd love to see the Ravens send Steve Smith back home to Carolina. Probably won't happen, but it's just a little fantasy of mine. I hate to see him go out like this. Maybe he'll come back next year now. Who knows? But Carolina is rockin', and the Panthers could certainly use him. Oh well, that's just the trade I'd like to see.

Harris has played well. It's not Harris. It's Clemmings. Watch where most of the pressure is coming from in the run and pass. It's from Clemmings whiffing or simply not holding his block long enough. I've been very impressed with Harris at guard this year. Berger I agree with
