How about this defense? Ever since the Lions second drive, they have been on FIRE!

Rhodes is THE man but he will always push the border, I agree that some calls are bunk but I have seen him damn near ride a receiver down the field and not get called for it. I love this kid he really loves to be hands on and it will result in a couple of flags but he is also a great defender.

I get the impression that Peterson is protecting his knees when he's running into traffic.

That may be so, but I hate the 1 yard from scrimmage type penalties those never get called on anyone else but Rhodes it seems.

It's interesting watching how AP doesn't attack little holes like he used to. He's much more dancey.

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It might extend his career a little health wise.

I live in Detroit... and I'm really happy I can watch the game live. The Lions really don't have a bad team... but it's like they are poorly coached and snake bit. Nice to see the Vikes leading, of course!

More likely to be three runs up the gut and a punt, but I like your thinking.
