I'm fine with their list. I think Tarkenton and CC are a must and then you have to have a member of the PPE in there, so page is definitely deserving, but I would replace McDaniel with AP. RM is a great Vikings, but I'm not putting an offensive lineman on my Mt. Rushmore. Not when you have guys like AP and Moss left out there.

And in 10-15 years I'm hoping we can chisel Teddy's mug in place of Fran.

So many people tend to forget how good Anthony Carter was too. Ahmad Rashad, Sammy White, Doleman also were very good players often forgotten when we make these list of former Viking players.

I can't argue with the list, but I will say on MY list, Moss makes it. I don't expect him to make it on everyone's ballot, but he's he reason I started following the team so to me he's the single most important player in franchise history.

Moss would make my list as well. But I'd have to add another face to Rushmore to do it, because I wouldn't want to lose any of the guys already selected.

I think the folks at Last Word made good choices. They covered different eras of Vikes football and named 4 of the very best players to ever play for the team.

Actually, 4 of the very best players ever to play in the NFL. They were that good.

Imo, Tark, Grant, and Randy are musts. I want to say AP but that might be my generational bias, but idk, so I would leave that 4th spot open to interpretation.

Add Joey Browner to that list also. Besides Ronnie Lott he is the Safety of the 80's in my opinion.
