I like Sendejo. I hope they keep him.

@Kevin_VFP
Casey Mathews is Greenway insurance. We have to have one guy that misses tackles and can't cover in case Greenway doesn't restructure.

From what I've been reading it seems like Casey Matthews will mainly be a special teams guy for us.

He has ridiculous athleticism. This is from his draft:

He's not great in coverage as a safety though so he might be best suited for OLB in some sub-packages.

Just wondering if Peterson does not get moved and
sits out; does that effect the cap, if at all?

@SeifertESPN Zimmer asked about FA CB Terence Newman: “I think it’ll happen.” Why do they want him? “Because he can still play."

Looks like Terence Newman is going to be a Vikings, what are your guys thoughts? I think he should be a good corner and good mentor to these younger corners. Still really hoping we take Trae Waynes if he gets to us.

If Zimmer thinks he can still play, that's a good endorsement. But how well is the question. I hope we're not counting on him as a starter. I think he was benched for Dre Kirkpatrick last season. Hopefully depth-only guy.

They are going to sign a 36 year old corner (who will be 37 during the season) to help improve the defense?

This offseason has made little sense to me.
