I dont think people understand the amount of immense talent it takes to run an offense built around a talent of a future HOFer, people seem to act as if teams that struggle without the likes of Rodgers, Manning, are just hinged on one player and one player alone, and it simply isn't true. There just aren't many back ups that can come in and run an offense built for a HOF talent. The Broncos, Colts and Packers would all struggle without their starting QBs, but it isn't because their teams are terrible.
Regardless, yea the thread is pretty ridiculous, about as ridiculous as some people on here think 8 wins would be able to win this division, Rodgers alone makes any team a dangerous one. The Packers D has been very up and down, but had very impressive performances against Philly and NE's lethal offenses. Lets hope come playoff time they are more down than up.

This is ridiculous, and absolutely baseless. They didn't beat the Pats due to their potent O.Raptorman wrote:Packers are winning because of one person. Rodgers. Their defense is suspect.
How you can discount the immense talent on the offensive side of the ball as well, is beyond me.

Take out Rodgers and the Packers are an 8-8 team at best. They can't beat good teams on the road. If the offense is so great, why is it that in the past three years they have a 12-12 road record with one victory on the road against a team that is above .500. One. Houston in 2012. But then the even the Vikings beat the 12-4 Texans that year. Were is all that immense talent on the road? The list of teams they beat on the road the last 3 years. Vikings 2 times, Bears, 3 times, Detroit 1, Houston 1, Tampa 1, St. Louis 1, Miami 1, Baltimore 1, Dallas 1.Purpnation wrote: This is ridiculous, and absolutely baseless. With Rodgers out last year they went 2-5-1. Were was all the immense talent then? If it's not about Rodger but the talent on the team, why did they not win last year when he went down? If you can't win with your backup QB in the game, at least half of the games, as a coach you are doing something wrong. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

They did win with their back up, Matt Flynnwent 2-2-1 and got them to the playoffs, what are you talking about? That is pretty good for a team missing the guy who occupies 100+ million of cap room.
See, you have to go into some hooplah about road victories to prove your point, all I have to is point at the upcoming NFCCG, the Packers past 4 division titles, or the fact that they are indisputably the most all around most overall successful team in the league since Aaron Rodgers took over.
In other words, can we get that production on the Vikings please? Yea, that be great.

Not true. New England has won more games. Green Bay may have one Super Bowl victory, but the Pat's have won more games.Purpnation wrote:
