The latest...though not a lot of new information....

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... on-appeal/

No decision, no deal in Peterson appeal

Except for this part about a potential settlement...
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the NFLPA made a proposal last week, and the NFL has not yet responded.
It's time to take back what was rightfully ours in '98....and '09!!

This is such crap. As the article states, there is no earthly reason it should take Henderson eight days and counting to decide a very narrow set of questions ... Did they promise him time served? Is his action subject to the new policy? And if not, how does it line up with past precedent under the old policy?

To claim the need for this much time to answer such simple questions is simply a lie. They're going to drag this out until it's impossible for AP to play a down this year, then probably rule in his favor and say, "Well, he won. He got paid." Which TOTALLY screws the Vikings. Not only have they played without his service, they've paid his full salary and carried his cap hit.

I don't hate NFL football, but I hate the NFL.

I think we'll be hearing something regarding Adrian very soon - just a hunch.

I suspect this will end up in Federal Court, with the goal being reinstatement prior to April 15th. Will be interested to see what unfolds if it does get taken over the head of the NFL's control structure and into the courts.

I understand this is still a sensitive topic and, clearly, an important issue, but...
How is Ray Rice reinstated before Adrian Peterson?
Rice essentially got an 11 game suspension and AD got a 15+ game suspension.

Great start to consistent domestic violence policy enforcement, NFL.
