From what I've been able to see and hear, they're playing a softer defense with a big lead, trying to make the Panthers be patient and run the ball rather than get back in the game with big shots in the passing game.

It would be nice if the Vikes offense could close out the final 3+ minutes of this half with a scoring drive. It would give the defense extended rest (and increase the lead!).

I mean it's great that the Vikings are winning and if the defense keeps holding the Panthers to FG's, they should win this game. I just want to see them finish the half with a good drive.
