Well, it was close. I guess that must be worth something.

Re: Packers @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread Week 12
Like I said, both teams played on the same field. If the Vikings didn't change their spikes for better traction while the Bears did, then that's the Viking's fault. Blaming the clocks is also pretty lame. The ref announced the time remaining after each play (or on request). Teddy knew there was about a minute left when he threw that last int, it's not like he thought it was the last play of the game.VikingLord wrote: It was too lopsided to be believable in my view. Guys like Barr were clearly unable to change direction. The Bear receivers were getting significant separation all day, while the Vikings WRs couldn't separate at all.
How many pro games have ever had all game clocks go out for significant portions of the game? You force a rookie QB to manage time without any clocks?

Would be a great time for a Barr strip fumble.

Should have just went for the onside kick
Re: Packers @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread Week 12
Well doesn't look like they'll come back but I thought this game was going to be really ugly. I think the fact that they held close shows some growth. Bridge hits a few more receivers and a little better tackling and I think the Vikings would have won this one.

Just once I'd like to see an illegal assist called.

Time to hit the range, see you guys next week.
Re: Packers @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread Week 12
Pretty clear we would have won this one with AD. We had no rushing attack all game - only Teddy.

Teddy's INT the difference in the game. 4-7. I don't think we are even get to 6 wins this year.
