Our 11-5 season starts today.
When you're born, you get a ticket to the freak show. When you're born in America, you get a front row seat.

I can't fathom the level of sadness I will feel if we lose this game.

A little luck, a couple of interceptions, a fumble recovered and i think we stand a chance against this juggernaut of a team we play today. Vikes 27 Bucs 26

Any fantasy guys here? I'm torn on whether to start McKinnon or mark Ingram against the packers. Bothe Pierre Thomas and khiry Robinson are out. Both seem like real good plays

Re: Vikings @ Buccaneers Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week
I had high hopes for this team before AD's departure, Teddy playing like a very very average rookie, the o-line losing Fusco, losing Rudolph (a huge part of this offense) but I am encouraged by the much improved defense. Griffen, so far, more than double makes up for the loss of JA, Joseph is playing very good football, Floyd, Rhodes and yes even Robinson are showing marked improvement. Barr is one of the better young players in the league already. Looks like 22 might be in the pro bowl this year barring injury. Mckinnon looks to be the furure at rb (which is a delightful, unexpected surprise).
All in all and needless to say, I am quite disapointed so far with the way the season is going but I see a light at the end of the tunnel.
As far as this game goes, I do not have a clue. My heart says that the o-line and Teddy will step up their play this week but who knows. I am thinking very close win or loss or the Vikes will shock us and put on a offensive display and win going-away.

Do not mistake KINDNESS for WEAKNESS!

I'd go with Ingram. I think McKinnon's likely to get good yardage but unless he breaks one for a TD, I have a feelinG Asiata will be the back who gets the carries near the goal line. I could be wrong but since Asiata has shown a knack for pounding it in the endzone, I think that may be how it works out.nfcnorthchamps25 wrote:Any fantasy guys here? Good luck with whoever you start!
PS.) I'm doing well in fantasy football this year but based on my overall track record with FF, you might want to do the opposite of whatever I advise!

How many yards does V Jack get today? I say either he gets shut down or goes for 200

That's a lot of options.Purple bruise wrote:As far as this game goes, I do not have a clue. My heart says that the o-line and Teddy will step up their play this week but who knows. I am thinking very close win or loss or the Vikes will shock us and put on a offensive display and win going-away.

i know what you mean. I don't know what to expect today. I have a feeling it will be a nail-biter.
By the way, I just heard that Berger will start at right guard.

Any of you guys notice that Teddy has yet to step on the field with his white jersey?

Are they in purple jerseys again today? I thought it was odd that the Bills went with white jerseys last week... was there any explanation given for that?Superfreak84 wrote:Any of you guys notice that Teddy has yet to step on the field with his white jersey?

Good morning.
As far as I'm concerned, today is a playoff game for the Vikings.
Can't believe the Lions.
