That stinks. Tillman looked like he knew it when he was injured last night. He was distraught. I hate to see that happen to a player like him.

I felt so bad for him watching that game. He was clearly taking it very hard. He's truly one of the 'good guys' in the NFL.

Looks like Welker is back according to this:

What a bizarre year indeed, not that I disagree with the re-instatement (I don't know a whole lot about the matter at this point)

Well that's bizarre.

We've already gotten more games out of Patterson than they got out of Harvin.

Is there a police announcement coming later...? Doesn't make a lot of sense right now.

Overall, he hasn't been very productive in Seattle and he has a reputation for being a pain in the you-know-what. Maybe they saw all they needed to see.

They got to and could have easily won the super bowl without him. I'm thinking they decided cap room was more important considering injuries.

Seems like a few things were going on here...
Seattle clearly didn't feel that Harvin was worth the money or the hassle. Rapoport told Around The NFL that Seattle has been in the market to deal Harvin for several weeks, just one year after swapping a first-rounder and two later-round picks to Minnesota for the rights to the former Vikings star.

"This is one they've been considering for some time for a couple reasons," Rapoport said. "One, in the locker room, Percy Harvin, as we all know, is certainly not the easiest player to deal with."

NFL Media's Albert Breer noted that Harvin's anger management issues followed him from Minnesota and loomed as part of the problem in Seattle.

"Plus, on the field, he's a player you have to game-plan for every single game," Rapoport said. "He's not like any other player, he's a slot receiver, he's a running back, he's all sorts of things. And for offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, getting him involved in the game was something that was not always easy."
