Yep, that Strib statement definitely seemed fishy.
Thanks for the correct research!
Here's the deal ... just like stocks and mutual funds, past performance is not a guarantee of future returns. At some point, the Patriots run of domination will end. Even though they haven't gone 0-2 since 2001, it WILL happen again. Might as well be next Sunday.
The Vikings WILL beat the Patriots.

Go ahead. I dare you.
Underestimate this man.

I'm feeling another blowout and yes, of the Patriots.

From what I saw of the highlights footage last night, the Pats don't look too sharp. If their D is sloppy, then I think we have a pretty good shot of out-scoring them. Brady won't reign forever, he's getting a little long in the tooth (like Manning) but will always be dangerous thanks to his knowledge of the game.
That said, I think we have a fair chance at a win. Voted yes, but that's more because I think they have the ability - not that I'm sure they will actually DO it. Sure would be nice though!!!
Would help if we have a discussion including a knowledgeable NE fan similar to the discussion of the Rams game. I enjoyed that thread.
