Shut up about what? You wanting the Vikes to lose? Then stop posting about it. Everyone on the board knows we improve the draft chance hwen we lose, a lot of us fans like watching a win. I don't turn the game on to watch a loss. So how about you shut up about it?

I never once during this game was cheering for them to lose. With tampa winning and us losing, we move up the draft board. That's all I was saying.

Stop complaining that people are going to discuss draft position after losses. What harm is there in finding a silver lining in a loss. Just because there are people who are actively aware of the draft, doesn't mean we want the team to tank. I want the team to win, but I also know that losing has it's benefits

It hurts more when it's the REF's doing the cheating. On Jacoby Jones TD return there was an obvious block out of bounds behind the play, that should have been called. even though it did not effect the play it should have been called.

It would help if we had a competent HC that stood up for his players on bad calls by refs. Instead of some stoic idiot standing on the sideline, arms crossed, doing nothing.

I'd be interested if anyone has links to audio of the players saying it

Lots of #Vikings players upset with officiating today. Peterson, Felton talked about it; others bit lips to avoid fines.

Carlson, if diagnosed, would have his fifth documented concussion as he missed time last year due to brain injuries as well. Carlson was already filling in for the injured Kyle Rudolph, who fractured his foot in a Nov. 3 loss at the Dallas Cowboys.
Didn't know Carlson had 5 already.

Yeah and there were a couple of blocks in the back on the Patterson td. If they were to call everything 'by the book' then we would never get through a game. You can probably see some holding on the line on every play, and they could call illegal contact against defensive backs past 5 yards on about every play. A lot of the plays are judgement calls and you see it each and every game.

I don't believe any official is going to "fix" a game, but the officiating was terrible today and unfortunately just about every bad call went against the vikings. I just don't understand how you review that fumble and don't overturn the call. There was a blatant blow to the head on a hit early on against Cassel with no call. I thought there were some questionable calls when it came to spotting the ball but some of that can attributed to the weather. I thought the last play was a TD, and it was never going to be anything other than inconclusive.

The PI calls in our game and the patriots game are alarming. Too many officials changing the outcomes of games with shaky subjective calls. Penalties, especially personal fouls, should be reviewed by coaching challenges only.

I remember a shot on Jennings head over the middle too. Couldn't understand how it wasn't called with all the "defenseless receiver" calls that go on every other game.

I'm struggling to find words to describe my feelings about today's game. The only way it would be worse is if the vikings were (legitimately) alive for a playoff spot. It is so hard to root for this team. You go on the road against a decent team in horrible weather, lose the best RB in the league early on, lose a TE who's been stepping up and lose a great d-back, battle back twice from late scores and still find a way to lose. This season has been excruciating to watch. You could argue the vikings could have 9 wins just as easily as they could have 1 or 0 wins. I've never seen a team so terrible at closing out a game. I have no idea where the team goes from here. I don't even think QB is in the top 3 needs in the draft. Do you still fire the coach? This team has been competitive in arguably all but 3 games this year. I just don't know what else to say.

Reading about draft position after a loss like that makes me irate.
