Just as you would hope the offense can get some first downs late, there has to be, at some point, a stop made by the defense. You can't give up points at will because you're changing the defensive gameplan.
Cassel should start next week. That is all.
I agree: Cassel should start and our MAJOR problem is actually on D.

How about the week after? (Next week is our Bye)
I've told people a million times not to exaggerate!
Yeah, the defense is definitely a disappointment this season. The offense is playing lights out and the defense is giving up too many points. Every damn week.

So...we plays QB then? It's the most important position in the game.
Well it's only one game into the cassel era but I would honestly say we need a CB #1 priority. Josh Robinson looked awful again today, i bet he gave up 10 out of 12 passes that went his way at least.
CB LB S QB OG in that order most likely.
Otherwise the offense is putting up 30+ every single week.
In watching the Seahawks game there is now 7 minutes left and tied at 20 so who knows who will win. But what I am seeing is a different attitude in coaching. Seattle have coaches playing to win and not predictable, the opposite of the Vikings coaches

I agree with this. Robinson is lost out there. He is our worst player by a mile and QBs target him every week.

I think LB is prioritized over CB at this point.
I'm just not so sure. It's close, don't get me wrong, but in the nickel you only use two LB's anyway. Between Cook not being able to stay healthy and how bad Robinson has looked I'd give the edge to CB. Ideally we need both... and bad!

I don't disagree with this, but I'm trying to figure out what happened. Robinson showed some promise last year and he (at least theoretically) is one of the fastest guys on the team. How can he go "down the tubes" this fast? At the risk of beating a dead horse, I think we have to give the coaching staff some of the 'credit' for where he's at. I don't know that it changes anything in terms of benching Robinson, but if the coached are partially to blame, I hope they don't corrupt Rhodes. That kid looks like he has promise...
