Are We The Worst Coached Team In The League?

Just wondering. I certainly think a case can be made.

I think when you look at the half time adjustments (not made) or any of the clock management issues over the last 2 years along with play calling and lack of imagination with player packages the short answer is..........WITHOUT QUESTION YES, YES, YES and its not even close

There are several teams that wonder this. The Vikings can't even win that competition.

One could make the argument, that including all coaches, we are the worst.

And it's literally sad that Singletary isn't an outlier here. He has got to be one of the least intelligent people in the NFL. But, he's in Frazier's "Super Best Friends" club, so he won't be fired unless Frazier is too.

What's he coaching? A bunch of bums. Can he do better? Who knows. But yeah after all that's gone on why is he ever here? Because he was on the Bears when Frazier was.

On offense definitely. Browns have nothing...Hoyer at QB...spread us out and picked us apart. We never do that. If Hoyer is better/more faith than Ponder. Why is Ponder still starting? There WRs aren't as good. Their oline isn't much better. What's the deal? The system is the deal. This shrink the field power running nonsense. No creativity. Nothing different, ever.

I still give Frazier at least a little benefit of the doubt. He has nothing. His best corner/tackler was cut to save money (get under the cap). But then...why doesn't he try to change up the personnel? Sanford is a liability and has been for quite a while. How long did Bishop have to wait?

Need to tear this down. Should have done it last time.

Zygi needs to put his big boy pants on, bring in a football guy in the front office, and let them run the damn thing from the top down. You want to give Spielman the power and let him redo this garbage? Fine...or maybe not...what has Spielman ever done? But it's better than you hiring Childress, then Frazier. Give Spielman the power, or the big tuna, or ANYONE, tear this #### down, let them rebuild it.

The biggest problem with this team in recent history...is incompetent owners. Red was more worried about the cap floor, Zygi is willing to spend, but sticks his paws in the soup. It's insane. :wallbang:

it all starts with the coaching, and our coaches suck.

As one knowing nothing of what goes behind the scenes, I had confidence that the coaches were doing their best with their relatively stacked hand dealt to them: but, seeing how badly the defense is coughing it up to mediocre offenses, and any understanding of the full picture of Ponder, (which it has to be said, the on-field presence+performance is the laugh of even less-than stellar opponents), I cannot agree that these coaches are either doing what they are supposed to, even if that means letting everyone see that our backup q.b.'s are incapable of feeding the ball in each kind of situation. It's like we need charity for someone to guide us by the hand....

The dumbed down schemes we run just prove our coaches don't know what they're doing. I still can't figure out what we're trying to do on offense. It looks nothing like the WCO and yet it's still called the WCO. Do Frazier and Musgrave know what the WCO is? And don't get me started on the D because man I've never seen such a disgusting passive bunch of crap in all my life. I mean our players are pretty much taught not to go for the ball but instead are taught to stay in position and make a tackle. Yeah sounds like winning football to me. No it sounds like playing not to lose football to me. I guess if we ride it out a championship will just fall in our laps. :wallbang:

And how or why Frazier ever got the head job to begin with is just beyond me. He wasn't even a good coordinator. His defenses were always crap or mediocre at best. Then he goes out and hires the Colts old DB coach after the Colts had possibly the worst pass defense in NFL history the year before? This whole team is built on failure.

answer this first: do we have the most predictable offense in the league?
When you're born, you get a ticket to the freak show. When you're born in America, you get a front row seat.

Spielman is good. He's been more positive than bad. We need to get rid of Frazier, Musgrave, Singletary, and go from there.

I think Zygi and Spielman can be a good duo.

Edit: Frazier and Singletary aren't coaching a bunch of bums. There is enough talent on this team to have at least a .500 record. As for Singletary's professional coaching career, look at his past. He is as intelligent as a pile of bricks.

That's even more maddening. I thought maybe we had a tell or something. Against the Bears we'd line up, they'd have a run blitz coming, and see something, call it off, and funny...we're running a play action!!!

As I have said b4, we haven't had a quality coach since Bud Grant. That is pitiful. We are wasting APs career.
