Adrian Peterson said he's fine, did more work inside than he would have done outside. #Vikings

Tom Pelissero @TomPelissero 34m
I had Ponder at 6-for-11 in the first wave of team drills with two INTs. Lot of underneath stuff. Cassel was 6-for-9. #Vikings

There he is, away from most eyes after practice: Greg Childs running routes. Moving pretty well. #Vikings pic.twitter.com/cKsUZBLf9l
Former #Vikings tight end Richard Angulo also doing a coaching internship.
Chad Greenway will have knee scoped tomorrow, per Frazier. Should be fine for training camp. Greenway had an MRI and #Vikings saw some things they needed to clean up.
Jared Allen just crashed Leslie Frazier's presser. "We're gonna be like Dwight Howard and Van Gundy. What problems?" pic.twitter.com/IA8XsRm3Vf

If they cut him now, you won't get to see what he can do this year with full pads on.JEC334 wrote: Burton will continue to do nothing if he stay on the team.
OTA reports doesnt impress me, I wanna see how he does with full pads on.
It's too early to cut anyone they don't absolutely have to, especially when it comes to receivers. May as well let it play out and cut when they have to cut. Burton could still surprise to the upside this year. If a guy can make plays in practice he can make plays in a game. More often it's just the confidence that needs to develop, especially for a younger player who came from a smaller school.

I can't believe you people are having a debate about Stephen Burton.
Can't wait for the bloody season to start. This is like watching ice melt...

We could always start talking about Kluwe again.Eli wrote:I can't believe you people are having a debate about Stephen Burton.

They should release Wobby. The guy has done nothing.

Am I the only one concerned with ths microfracture surgery that Sullivan had? This is the same surgery that Greg Oden had if I remember correctly and he hasn't played in the NBA again.

Re: 2013 OTA/Offseason Schedule
It's a concern for sure. Oden is a pretty extreme case to base any reliability on though. He was effed in a lot of ways regarding his lower body. Here's a list of successful recoveries....not a complete list but a few higher profile ones:Vikefan68 wrote:Am I the only one concerned with ths microfracture surgery that Sullivan had? Jason Kidd, Steve Yzerman, John Stockton, Kenyon Martin and Zach Randolph[16] have been able to return at or near their pre-surgery form while players Ron Harper, Brian Grant, Chris Webber, Allan Houston, Penny Hardaway, and the late Derek Smith never regained their old form.[9] Others such as Jamal Mashburn and Terrell Brandon never recovered and retired. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microfract ... re_Reports
It should be noted Hardaway and Grant had decent seasons later on with the Suns....but the Suns are renowned for their amazing training staff and resurrecting careers.
Also on the list are Amare Stoudamire and Grady Sizemore.
The point being it's not black or white...but the procedure is becoming more common. So, there is more info on how to go about coming back from it.
Re: 2013 OTA/Offseason Schedule
Leslie Frazier certainly doesn't sound as reassuring as you'd like about Sullivan. There could be something going on there.Vikefan68 wrote:Am I the only one concerned with ths microfracture surgery that Sullivan had? "I just want to see (Sullivan) continue to gain confidence and not be worried about the surgery, but just move on," Frazier said. "And he's making progress. From everything that (head athletic trainer) Eric Sugarman tells me, he's on target. He's moving in the right direction.
"We've got enough time for him to continue to improve and hopefully, when we get started he'll be able to go full-go right away. But he'll continue his rehab through the rest of this summer."
