https://twitter.com/TomPelissero/status ... 4327120896#Vikings have re-signed fullback Jerome Felton, source says. So, the top three in-house priorities are taken care of.
Hopefully now we see some activity with players from outside of the organization.

So much for that.

RT @ProFootballTalk: Phillip Wheeler agrees to terms with Dolphins, per league source.
####. Well, great. Another good linebacker is off the market. Ironically, he goes to the same team.

Dansby was released, but at going on 32 he's probably not an option any longer.HardcoreVikesFan wrote:

Meh, I would pass on Dansby. His play has steadily declined from the Cardinal's Super Bowl run.dead_poet wrote: Dansby was released, but at going on 32 he's probably not an option any longer.

All these pansies are going to warm weather teams. Who needs 'em, we need some real men who can play outdoors in the wonderful upper-midwest winter for a few years.

Greg Jennings - WR - Packers
A source tells ESPN Milwaukee's Jason Wilde that the Packers previously made free agent Greg Jennings a $10M per year offer.
If true, it's shocking. The Packers were thought to have moved on from Jennings, instead focusing on a very capable receiving trio of Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson and James Jones. This news suggests that they are very open to bringing Jennings back. It's unlikely he'll fetch more than $10M per year on the open market -- even from a receiver-needy team like the Vikings.

Doubtful. That would be a good signing of someone not currently on the team. After listening to the Precc Conference today, that just ain't gonna happen.

Tom Pelissero on TwitterI'm told the #Vikings are NOT actively pursuing Greg Jennings right now. Of course, that level of activity can change ...
Greg Jennings - WR - Packers
Beat writer Tom Pelissero has been told that that Vikings are not actively pursuing free agent Greg Jennings right now.
Once Mike Wallace came off the market, the Vikings were widely assumed to be targeting Jennings. Perhaps they have other ideas to bolster a receiving corps that is currently led by Jerome Simpson and Jarius Wright. Or maybe they just want to set Christian Ponder up for failure. After Jennings, the best receivers left on the market are all of the slot variety -- Wes Welker, Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman.

Re: PFF Free Agency Tracker
If the Packers could bluff the Vikings into giving Jennings $10M per year, that would be quite a victory for them.
