Honestly we can beat any team in the NFL if everyone shows up 100%
We have a the best running back in the league..
One of the best kickers in the league
A pretty good defense, much improved secondary
A pretty good OL better once we get rid of Load "in his pant's" holt
Percy Harvin is a star in this league..
wright might be a real steal of the draft..
no one expects the Spanish Inquisition!

Playoff odds: close to zero.
The post bye schedule will kill us.

If Cutler bumps his head again it'd give us a sniff of a chance of a wild card spot. But that's about as far as I think I'd go.

I don't know. Maybe I'm seeing this differently but I'm not even thinking the Vikings will make it to the playoffs.
OTOH, if they do make the playoffs, it's a step far beyond what I thought they would do this season. I wouldn't even be upset if they were one and done. After last season's dismal record, making the playoffs this year would be an amazing turnaround to me. Add to that Adrian Peterson's comeback and the season would seem downright astonishing.

Giants, packers, bears, 49ers, falcons, the final.spot will be between seahawks, cowboys, and vikings. Slim chance.

I think the Cowboys have a ton of issues. They have talent but tend to screw up at the worse times. Someone said that Romo was the anti-Eli. So I'd say it's between the Seahawks and Vikings. It's all in if they climb to the occasion.

Yeah, that Seattle loss really hurt, harder to beat em out of a spot. Don't forget Tampa, if they beat Carolina, they will be 6-4, with a head to head win vs Vikings too.

Man.
The NFC is tough. A lot more so than the AFC.
The Bills have a 12% chance at 4-6

I'm just happy this is a thread at this point in the season. Who would've thought?

Seriously! I will be ecstatic about the season if we miss the last playoff spot at 9-7 on a tiebreaker. Splitting the next three games would be fabulous. Better yet would be if we took out the Packers twice for two of the three.

What are the other matchups significant to the Vikes playoff chances today?

Bucs vs. Panthers
Bears vs. 49ers (tomorrow)
To a lesser extent:
Saints vs. Raiders
Browns vs. Cowboys
Cardinals vs. Falcons

So we want the panthers, 49ers, raiders, browns, falcons
