Far too soon to move on.admvp wrote:Don't know where we'll get Ponder's replacement. We've won too many games to "suck for Barkley", and we don't want to draft another QB in the middle of the first round. That's how we got Ponder.

3rd and 10 deep in your own territory, early in the game? Darn right I think it was a good playcall. How many times has Harvin fumbled? How often has he ever been stuffed? It was a good call. Just because Seattle made a great play, it somehow becomes an indicator of lack of confidence in Ponder? Thing is... maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. But would you have been saying the same thing if Harvin had made the first down? I very much doubt it.VikingLord wrote: A draw on 3rd-and-10 from inside your own 20? You think that was a good call?

Yep, same story.PurpleKoolaid wrote:And Ponder and his 3 and outs are going to wear our D out so they look worse at the end of the game then they actually are.

RT jumped offsides then also held on that TD play. Good job refs.

I miss Sidney Rice.
Re: Vikings @ Seahawks Gameday Discussion Thread -- Week 9
Sidney Rice has more passing yards than Ponder.

Adrian Peterson is going to need 350 yards rushing for the Vikings to stay in this game.

Actually, I would have. You have confidence in your QB you pass on 3rd-and-10, especially deep in your own territory.BGM wrote: 3rd and 10 deep in your own territory, early in the game? You know, guys... without completely giving up on Ponder, a good benching can do wonders for a guy' s mental focus and might ignite a fire in his belly. Right now, he looks like Bambi out there.

That's what Tarvaris was supposed to be. I want a no-doubter stud. Like RGIII or Luck. That's what this franchise needs.Purplemania wrote: I don't want a first rounder QB. I want a gem in the later rounds. Russell Wilson, Dalton, etc....
Of course, I'll take a gem in the later rounds if he works out for us. Haha.
