Well, before it would have been nice to get a TD. Now it's almost imperative

He's improved recognizing things, but doesn't dominate the way I'd expect based on the way the guy is built. He should be blowing up blitzing LB's and DB's and while he's getting on them, he's not dominating.

This field is such a POS, how many players have slipped so far?

Why is Ponder so scared to throw the ball downfield? I still think he sucks.

A TD would be be great, but a field goal would be just fine before the half. Any points would be fine.

Now that's the Vikings I'm used to. Whew, the world feels a little more in balance now...

Sorry, just a bit jaded.

Because he has Devin Aromashodu and Michael Jenkins out there. Not exactly Carter and Moss.

Look again! Ponder would have steamrolled that LB if he didn't slip 8)

Couldn't tell. I assume he was hit, but it might have slipped. If he was hit, it wasn't very hard.

I agree to an extent. However unlike the guys he's attempting to block, he's not building up any steam. Hard to level a guy 20-40 pounds heavier when he's had a few yards to build up speed/momentum and you get a step or two at best.

These are elite athletes. Aslong as both teams are on the same field, it shouldn't matter.

For those people who know little to nothing about football that was no way Ponder's fault.
