Harbaugh taking two ILLEGAL reviews/timeouts. How is there NOBODY on the sidelines/booth to tell them this is NOT legal? This #### is corrupt. The NFL tried so hard to please Vegas with a 49ers victory. It sickens me.

Impressive win coupled with impressive incompetence at the end by both the officials and Leslie Frazier. The officials for failing to understand the challenge rule, and Frazier for failing to yank Gerhart. Either could have cost the Vikings a game they had earned and hopefully the league and Frazier will both get their acts together after this.
Speaking of Gerhart, wow, hard to believe he could so consistently cough up the ball like that. He's not the most explosive runner, but I've always credited him with being reliable. After watching that late series of fumbles, if I were Frazier I'd be hesitant to put him back on the field. I think the announcers were completely correct in calling Frazier out on his decision to leave Gerhart in.

What a game. All I am focused on is the fact that Ponder called all those audibles at the line. He is starting to take control of the Offense like a QB should. He must have killed 15 plays today. I hope this game is the beginning of the Ponder Era for the Vikings.

LETS GO VIKINGS !

I hope the NFL is somewhat boycotted and gets severe backlash after the Vikings game and Lions game. I have a feeling Goodell's stock went way down today.

Unreal. The Vikes as a team including the coaches beat arguably the best team in the NFL and some of you are still nit picking OMGPurpleKoolaid wrote:yeah Fraizer still one of the worst HC i have ever seen

We can all thank Alex Smith for that game. He has made a ton of progress but made some really terrible decisions today. Reffing was also pretty terrible for both teams.

ponder, defense, o-line.

Re: 49ers @ Vikings Gameday Discussion Thread--Week 3
Didn't he have some Stanford record for not fumbling? What was ridiculous (other than not getting yanked after the 2nd one) is the way he was holding the football on the third fumble. As a coach you tell him to hold onto the ball with two hands, first down don't mean squat in that situation.VikingLord wrote:Speaking of Gerhart, wow, hard to believe he could so consistently cough up the ball like that. Oh wait, I'm supposed to be letting it go.

Though, you can't let Toby fumble the ball 3 times. After 2, you either tell him his roster spot is on the line if he fumbles, or you put AD in.
