Journey,Heart, and Cheap Trick

Post by jackal »

I went to this concert last night and all three bands were very good.
Heart second on the bill and Ann Wilson voice was flawless. All three
bands did about 10 songs or so. People weren't even trying to hide the :ganja:
at all.

As a child of the 70s, I would have enjoyed the concert -- especially Heart.

Sounds like a fun concert.

I snagged 2 tickets for the AC/DC concert in St.Paul on November 23rd. I got lucky and got floor seats in row 2 for the wife and I!!!

I've heard the new Journey singer on the newest album and the rerecordings they did with him of their classic songs and the guy is almost flawless. How is he live? Is he able to pull it off?

the lead singer was pretty good for journey.

It seemed to me like he was trying to copy the orginal
a little too much IMO.

I think that is the best vocal performance I have ever heard live (Ann Wilson)
