The Iowa Assassins have lost some players due to Free Agency. We have openings at T, CB, WR, FS, and DE. We could find a spot for just about anyone. If anyone wants to join, kick me a PM here or over at GLB. My ID over there is snellman. We would love to have more Vikings fans on board.

After jumping up from USA BBB3, we managed a 7-9 record. This is a very good league. We lost a couple starters that we did not expect to lose, so while we would like to make the playoffs, we are going to have to work hard to get there.

Wish I had known this before I extended my FSs contract with his current team. But they have been good to me, so I can't complain.

The Minnesota Viktors got moved into your league. I have two players on the team but the team shouldn't be much of a factor. They have much suckage.

How did I get two guys on this team you ask, and why do they suck so bad?

When I first got into GLB, I put one guy one the team because it was the best Vikings themed team I saw. They were decent the first season. I made an OT tackle for an experimental team run by a large forum - two season commitment. The owner of the Viktors saw him and offered him a spot. I explained the situation but told him he could have the player after the two season. Three games into the next season the owner destroys all hope in one fell swoop. He trades up the entire roster of two farm teams and then, realizing what he did, begins to trade down or trade away most of the new players.

Team Chemistry dropped down near 30 and the team hasn't fully recovered yet. With team chemistry so nerfed, the team couldn't win. Once they started losing team morale dropped and losing became worse. People wanted off the team and pulled all sorts of shenanigans to get off of it, which hurt chemistry more.

I'm glad I had a guy on the Millens.

My LEVEL 27 OT (he out levels everybody but a NT on that team) was signed to a one season deal. After that, I have fulfilled my promise and can go on my way.

Just a note for the next game. The team featuring Tavaris Jackson, Sidney Rice, Steve Jordan, Ron Yary and Anthony Herrera is NOT the one from Vikings Message Board.com.

Took on GM responsibilities this season and... wow! What a time eater that is. Not to mention the free agent market is absolutely insane. Lvl 12-15 players getting paid over $100,000 and offered immense signing bonuses. We can't find any depth because everyone over LVL 8 thinks they should start. And then some knuckleheaded owner comes along and overpays them.

Sorry to vent here, but I had to do it! Must be my new diet.

I hope all you guys are having a good beginning to your season. And we're still looking forward to facing the Great Plains Reapers in week three. Congrats on your impressive opening win!

Thanks. Today's game is going to be even more difficult. The more I look over the league, the more depressed/excited I get. It's going to be a long, rough season. So many quality teams. Whoever wins it all this season will likely do so because of excellent game planning. Looking forward to our matchup!
