Re: Cris Carter's son to visit Vikings on Jan. 9

Think about players who went to the CFL first because they were not good enough but did quite well once they got back to the NFL, ones who jump to mind.
Warren Moon
Doug Flutie
Cam Wake

Does not happen often but when it does it a roster player without spending a draft pick

And don't for get coach ...

Which QB Do We Get in 2014

OK so this team is done for the year, so moving forward we have a chance to get a real QB in the draft. Who would be your top 5 picks for a QB (in order of your preference) for us to draft?

Re: Steelers@Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread--London Edit

In watching the Seahawks game there is now 7 minutes left and tied at 20 so who knows who will win. But what I am seeing is a different attitude in coaching. Seattle have coaches playing to win and not predictable, the opposite of the Vikings coaches

Re: Steelers@Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread--London Edit

I am not watching the Vikings game as I can't get it, so relying on all of your posts, I am watching the Seahawks playing the Texans. Seattle was being blown out, it was terrible, Wilson had virtually no protection. So as of now, with no giving up by Wilson and the team believing in him, the game ...

There is something about the Steelers and refs wanting them to win, the year the Seahawks played them in the SB was IMO the worst ref'd game I have seen giving the SB to the Steelers

Re: Steelers@Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread--London Edit

I'm probably the biggest supporter of Christian Ponder on this board, but I have to say that this offense responds differently with Matt Cassell in it. The biggest thing a QB can do for their team is make them believe they can win the game. I don't see that belief from the team with Ponder in, at ...

Time to go for broke and run the table. Play the rookies and go for it and yes with our starting QB who happens to be playing today

Re: Trade AD, Fire Frazier

If we trade Peterson it would be out of feeling bad for this guy being on such a pathetic team so I approve for him. In addition I approve thinking of what the return could be. We are destined to get a high pick with our own where we can get a real QB, would we get another first and a second at ...

Talent-wise I do not think we are the worst in the league and IMO should be fighting for a playoff position. However coaching-wise, we are the worst

Re: Browns @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 3

I still have a gut feeling we will win this game but maybe the best thing is losing and accepting this team and coaching staff are not NFL caliber and getting our QB in the draft

Yup. Maybe another Bud Grant, just saying
